I think purpose of removing notables was to kill notable aggregation sites like www.wearethene.ws. It was a great place to send normies and anon was spending a lot of time there catching up.

I four QResearch just after migration from CBTS. Going through the archives/armory I thought the migration was the most amazing thing of all.

Sad for what is happening but glad to know enough to be here.

It would be interesting if bakers use ID only when baking and return to being anon when lurking or posting. Othwerwise we get the famefagging which appears to have been the cause of the first board split. I wasn't here for the first two splits. But, I went back and read the breads. Clearly mushroom famefagging had a lot to do with it.

What's up with McThistle.

My view has always been that avatarfagging is no different from famefagging.

Oldfag when it comes to power elite analysis and revisionist history, but I wasn't here on CBTS when people posted with ID's and names. So don't know and would appreciate some background from those that were there then.

BTW - tried to click to get captcha. So glad I didn't need to do that. Value in that by itself.

Authority is the problem. We are all anon. Content is king. Also, the fact that ID's are regenerated from bread to bread eliminates the need for holding back. Truly no ego. Never understand when anons get offended when called out or when they make a mistake. Next bread no one knows.

When I first came to the board and started lurking and researching I came across something explaining this. I thought it was spot on. Then researching the CBTS migration it became clear that the problem was famefagging.

So, in my mind, other than bakers when someone posts an avatar they lose credibility.

Never saw any problem with McThistle's posts. But he responded to me a couple times and I couldn't help but feeling proud for a moment before realizing what a fucking homo I was being for caring.

The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NYSPCC), the world's first child protection agency, held its annual Spring Luncheon on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at The Pierre Hotel in Manhattan. The afternoon featured a keynote address by child advocate Elizabeth Smart. The kidnapping of Elizabeth Smart was one of the most followed child abduction cases of our time. This traumatic experience led Elizabeth to create her own foundation that has allowed her to become an influential advocate for change related to child safety. Elizabeth's compelling story continues to inspire children who have gone through similar experiences to not give up and know that there is life after tragic events.

Dr. Mary Pulido, Executive Director of the NYSPCC, spoke about the mission of the NYSPCC, and the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Elizabeth Mayhew and Valesca Guerrand-Hermes served as event co-chairs. The afternoon raised more than $150,000 for the agency's Trauma Recovery Program. 250 guests were in attendance.
