>My damned GP is just a little too damned eager to offer me vaccines at every damned turn. I had the shingles fifteen or so years ago, and he was trying to get me to take the shingles vaccine. Uh, it's less likely to recur since I've already had it, doc. I don't want your flu vaccine, either. He asked why. I said, I don't like the genetic material they're using in them. He did not say another word.

I don't know where you are at, anon, and I I have no desire to know, but in Britainistan, Doctors receive yearly payments if the fully vaccinated ratio of their patients is over 95%.

Is it any wonder GPs push vaccines?

Some sauce:

There are no bonus payments made with respect to immunisations. The

payment rates are as set out in the Direct Enhanced Services (DES)

directions or the Statement of Financial Entitlements. These are

nationally determined. There are target payments made as part of a DES

for Childhood Immunisations that provide a calculated quarterly payment

based on achievement against a 70% or 90% uptake target for children at

two and five years. These are paid through the Exeter system and are

calculated automatically according to the rules set out in Section 11 of

the Statement of Financial Entitlement. These are the same for every

area. There are some Primary Medical Services (PMS) practices receive

these payments as part of their baseline. The Arden, Herefordshire and

Worcestershire (AHW) payments for 14/15 at County Level are set out below,

please note that these exclude payments within PMS baselines.
