I was involved in that. I'm the dude who corrected the guy that posted his history about /qr/ by pointing out that /qrb/ had been created long before the Battle of Notables Creek took place. I also told him off about his whine that the autists who came here all "abandoned" /qr/.
Don't think he was a shill, actually - I think he was one of the disaffected BV's that got shit-canned over there. I essentially called him out as such after he ended up whining that the people in /qrb/ bailed out and didn't fight for /qr/ which was bullshit, and a couple others also called him. He claimed that he was there "full time" and we weren't, so I asked his retarded ass if he'd ever heard of having more than one browser open at a time (could be either browser or page, which in the heat I didn't mention, but I actually tend to use different browsers for different sites because it makes observing lag and other board operating issues a little easier).
iirc (I bailed out to catch a smoke at that point, I was so pissed) he never refuted being a BV. Frankly I took a shot in the dark and pretty sure I hit the nail on the head. Figured he was a BV because he spoke very possessively about defending /qr/.
Still, he got lit up by us, and he ended up shutting his tater trap over it. Maybe he learned a valuable lesson.
Absolutely agreed. It was hard enough to dig through all the shilling then - iirc that was another period where the board got attacked with cp posts. Or am I mistaken on that? Seems like that was forever ago.
