The first day of an unprecedented recount of every ballot cast by Maricopa County voters during last year's general election almost did not happen Friday.
A court battle nearly stopped it. And, as the recount was starting, officials seemed to be figuring out rules and training on the fly. Later, the daily press briefings that were promised were placed on an indefinite hiatus.
What was clear is that the 2.1 million ballots the Republican-controlled state Senate obtained through a subpoena are now fully in the custody of a Florida-based company called Cyber Ninjas. Rows of pallets piled high with boxes were surrounded by a fence on the floor of the Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Many questions still remain unanswered, among them:
Who will do the counting?
Who will pay for the process?
The head of Cyber Ninjas would not say when he spoke to reporters before the recount began. And, as of now, reporters can't go back inside to film or photograph the process.

Mason-Dixon Poll: Americans Reject Court-Packing
Independents overwhelmingly oppose plan to add Justices
By a large margin, Americans oppose the idea of increasing the number of justices serving on the U.S. Supreme Court. That’s according to a new nationwide survey of 1,100 registered voters conducted by Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy. The survey also finds little support for ending the legislative filibuster in the U.S. Senate.
Poll participants were asked the following question:
Do you feel President Joe Biden should or should not back a plan proposed by Congressional Democrats to increase the number of Justices of the Supreme Court of the United States from nine members to thirteen members?
A full 65% of respondents said he should not, while just 31% said that he should and 4% weren’t sure. Perhaps it’s no surprise that 95% of Republicans oppose the plan to expand the court, but independents in the survey also resoundingly rejected the idea, with a full 72% saying that the President should not support the court-packing scheme and just 22% saying that he should. And even within Mr. Biden’s party the idea has its share of critics, with a third of Democrats saying he should not back the proposal.

On November 20, 2020, RADM Carl Lahti, Commandant of Naval District Washington (NDW) introduced a more restrictive status for all six of his installations in the Washington, D.C. area.
The installations have since been on lockdown for almost 5 months!
The status of “HPCON-C” (Charlie) was changed due to Covid-19. This order affects Walter Reed Medical Center, the Navy Yard, and NAS Patuxent River, among others. It affects tens of thousands of military personnel, and not just Navy personnel, as there are service members from all branches at Walter Reed.
The HPCON-C status is NOT currently in place at any other facility in the Washington, D.C. geographic area, as the Pentagon and Army bases (Ft. Belvoir) are only at HPCON-B, a much less restrictive level.

NV Sec'y of State Does Flimsy Review of Likely Election Fraud – Ignores Biggest Issue
Nevada’s Secretary of State, Barbara Cegavske, announced on Wednesday that there is no evidentiary support for the GOP’s claims that there was widespread voter fraud in her state.
The Daily Mail reported yesterday:
Nevada’s Republican Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske revealed Wednesday she found no evidence to support the state GOP‘s claim of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 general election.
‘[W]hile the NVGOP [Nevada GOP] raises policy concerns about the integrity of mail-in voting, automatic voter registration, and same-day voter registration, these concerns do not amount to evidentiary support for the contention that the 2020 general election was plagued by widespread voter fraud,’ she said in a letter addressed to the Nevada Republican Party…
Biden was given the win in Nevada by less than 34,000 votes. There are many more outstanding issues still not addressed in Nevada in the report above to more than make up this difference, and this was not the biggest issue in the state.
As noted above, every Nevada voter on their voter rolls was mailed an absentee ballot. This egregious exercise was then amplified by one major flaw in the election still not addressed. Nevada basically turned off the signature check on ballots during this election. This was the perfect storm:

It’s clear that the Nevada Secretary of State is doing a sloppy job addressing 2020 Election complaints with tens of thousands of issues still outstanding, but she appears to have an agenda to disregard the most significant issue in Nevada in the 2020 election – signatures were not checked on the ballots received in the state’s 2020 election and anyone could have sent in a ballot for anyone and signed it and no one would know.

Hawley, Braun Proposal Would Direct Biden to Declassify Intel on Wuhan Lab, CCP Virus
Republican Sens. Josh Hawley of Missouri and Mike Braun of Indiana want Americans to see U.S. intelligence on links between China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) and the origins of the CCP virus, which is the cause of COVID-19.
Their legislative proposal—the COVID-19 Origin Act of 2021—directs President Joe Biden to declassify the intelligence collected to date by U.S. agencies on the potential links between the WIV and the virus. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) has been collecting related information since at least April 2020.
The WIV, which is closely associated with the Chinese military and its biological warfare research programs, has received U.S. tax dollars via grant money awarded by a unit of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to a private research group, the EcoHealth Alliance.
The NIH unit that approved the grant, the National Institutes of Allergies and Infectious Diseases, is headed by Dr. Anthony Fauci. Fauci’s group didn’t submit the grant to review by a federal oversight board, according to the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF).

Texas Senate Passes Resolution to Curb China’s Forced Organ Harvesting: ‘There Needs to Be a Global Outcry’
Texas Senate lawmakers have unanimously adopted a resolution condemning the Chinese regime’s “vile practice of forcibly removing human organs for transplant” while urging the United States to take a more aggressive stance on the issue.
“We want to go on record as saying: ‘No, this is happening, and we condemn it,’” state Sen. Angela Paxton, the primary author of the resolution, told The Epoch Times’ sister media NTD on April 21.
Part of the motivation for Paxton, who has spent at least two years advancing the cause, was the lack of public attention on the organ transplant abuse, which had led many people to dismiss it as “rumors.”

Ghislaine Maxwell Pleads Not Guilty to Sex Trafficking

NEW YORK—British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell pleaded not guilty on Friday to federal sex trafficking charges in the case accusing her of helping the late financier Jeffrey Epstein recruit and sexually abuse girls.
Maxwell, 59, entered her plea through her lawyer before U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan in Manhattan.
The charges had been included in an eight-count indictment unveiled on March 29. It was the first time Maxwell had faced a judge in person since her arrest last July.
Prosecutors have accused Maxwell of grooming and paying a girl who, starting at age 14, gave Epstein nude massages and engaged in sex acts with him from 2001 to 2004, and said the girl recruited others to offer erotic massages.
Maxwell previously pleaded not guilty to charges she helped Epstein recruit and groom three other girls for him to sexually abuse from 1994 to 1997, and committed perjury.

Laboratories in US can’t find Covid-19 in one of 1,500 positive tests
CDC sued for massive fraud: Tests at 7 universities of ALL people examined showed that they did not have Covid, but just Influenza A or B
A clinical scientist and immunologist-virologist at a southern California laboratory says he and colleagues from 7 universities are suing the CDC for massive fraud. The reason: not one of 1500 samples of people tested “positive” could find Covid-19. ALL people were simply found to have Influenza A, and to a lesser extent Influenza B.
This is consistent with the previous findings of other scientists, which we have reported on several times.
Dr. Derek Knauss: “When my lab team and I subjected the 1500 supposedly positive Covid-19 samples to Koch’s postulates and put them under an SEM (electron microscope), we found NO Covid in all 1500 samples. We found that all 1500 samples were primarily Influenza A, and some Influenza B, but no cases of Covid. We did not use the bulls*** PCR test.’

‘When we sent the rest of the samples to Stanford, Cornell, and a couple of the labs at the University of California, they came up with the same result: NO COVID. They found Influenza A and B. Then we all asked the CDC for viable samples of Covid. The CDC said they can’t give them, because they don’t have those samples.’
‘So we came to the hard conclusion through all our research and lab work that Covid-19 was imaginary and fictitious. The flu was only called ‘Covid,’ and most of the 225,000 deaths were from co-morbidities such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, pulmonary emphysema, etc.. They got the flu which further weakened their immune systems, and they died.’
