QAnon’s ‘Domino Theory’ Explained: Here's The Bizarre Scenario That Has Trump Redeemed By The Arizona Audit—And Returning To The White House
QAnon adherents—who mostly slipped underground following President Joe Biden’s inauguration and a social media crackdown on conspiracy theories—are now galvanized behind the idea that Arizona’s controversial election audit will prove there was fraud, handing the state to former President Donald Trump, and then launching audits in other states that will eventually lead to reversing the election results, and putting Trump back in power.
Key Facts
This “domino theory” has been endorsed by far right personalities online such as Ben Garrison, a pro-QAnon, conservative cartoonist who was banned by Twitter earlier this year and whose work is a favorite among Trump allies.
Robert Cornero, Jr., one of the most prominent QAnon supporters on fringe social media site Gab, also promoted the the domino theory to his hundreds of thousands of followers this week.
The domino theory is fueled by a series of baseless conspiracy theories connected to the Arizona election audit, including a baseless claim that 40,000 ballots were flown in to Arizona from China and “stuffed” into a box, and another QAnon-fueled theory involving allegations ballots that were individually watermarked.
Trump appeared to amplify the domino conspiracy theory during remarks at Mar-a-Lago last month, claiming he wouldn’t be “surprised” to watch officials uncover “thousands and thousands of votes” in Arizona, and then other states.
The Arizona audit has yet to produce any evidence of fraud, and it stands no chance of overturning the results of the election, a reality even state Senate President Karen Fann (R), one of the audit’s most vocal supporters, has acknowledged.
In a letter to Fann on Monday, the GOP-majority Maricopa County Board of Supervisors called for a stop to the recount, writing it was "time to end this” for the “good of the Senate, for the good of the Country and for the good of the Democratic institutions that define us as Americans.”
NBA-Linked Fund Invests In Companies Flagged As ‘Tools’ Of Chinese Communist Party.
A venture capital firm backed by Kobe Bryant – the late National Basketball Association star – has invested in several Chinese Communist Party-linked companies, including those flagged by the U.S. State Department as “tools” of the Chinese government.
The firm – Bryant Stibel – began operating in 2013, counting $100 million in funding from the National Basketball Association (NBA) all-star. Among the companies funded by the investment arm are companies with Chinese Communist Party ties: Alibaba, VIPKid, and Full Truck Alliance.
Since 2016, the firm has invested in the online learning platform VIPkid alongside Tencent, which has been described as a “tool of the Chinese government” by the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation. Noting the company has “no meaningful ability to tell the Chinese Communist Party ‘no’ if officials decide to ask for their assistance,” the department also counts Tencent as providing the “foundation of technology-facilitated surveillance and social control” in order for the Chinese government “to shape the world consistent with its authoritarian model.”
VIPKid, which has partnered with state-run media outlets such as China Daily, has even been criticized for attempting to influence school curricula by firing teachers who show maps with an independent Taiwan and Hong Kong and accurately describe the brutal Tiananmen Square massacre.
In contrast, during a 2016 interview at a Wall Street Journal forum, Bryant praised the company and its CEO, noting “it’s really about inspiring kids in to understand that there’s a much much bigger world out there.” VIPKid, however, has also expanded its reach into American classrooms, “donating” its services to several public school districts.
The Bryant Stibel fund has also invested in the China-based technology and e-commerce giant Alibaba alongside China Investment Corporation, a Chinese Communist Party sovereign wealth fund led by current and former high-level apparatchiks. In addition to Chinese Communist Party links at Alibaba’s leadership level, the company is also key to the country’s quest to overtake the U.S. in technology.
Similarly, the NBA-linked fund has also invested in the Chinese company Full Truck Alliance, the “leading online commercial freight platform in China in the full-truck-load segment.” Among the company’s funders is China Reform Fund Management, a private equity firm operating under the control of the Chinese Communist Party.
The fund’s holding company, as outlined by state-run media outlet China Daily, is “a wholly state-owned company approved by the State Council and an investment institution authorized by the State.” One of its primary objectives is “to support the Central Government’s technological innovation and industrial upgrading.”

Toronto turns out in huge numbers for Worldwide Freedom Rally
On Saturday, May 15, tens of thousands of Ontarians attended the Worldwide Freedom Rally on the lawns of Queen's Park, Ontario's legislature, in downtown Toronto.
As we do each week, Rebel News journalists, videographers and editors provided on the ground coverage of the rally. We know that the state-funded media won’t, so it’s usually all hands on deck — not just in Toronto, but across Canada.
As the weather gets warmer, and people become increasingly aware of government inconsistencies and nonsensical closures, it is more socially and politically acceptable to speak out against the harm of lockdowns. As a result we are seeing protest numbers growing each week.
At this rally I caught up with People’s Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier, the “Clothing Isn’t Essential” Thong Man, a first time protester, a concerned mother, and several others including two individuals who had fled communist regimes that sounded alarm bells on what they’re seeing unfold in Canada.
Protesters are hopeful that as numbers grow, with more doctors speaking out, and elected officials get the courage to speak on their constituents behalf, that Premier Doug Ford's government will finally start to listen and change their pandemic response to a more balanced approach.

Vancouver rallygoers denounce “extremist” labels at Worldwide Freedom Rally
This past Saturday, around 1,000 Canadians gathered at the Vancouver Art Gallery to protest against the totalitarian COVID-19 restrictions, unelected political health officers, and bureaucrats who have implemented rules which have eroded most of the fundamental rights and freedoms of Canadians.
The protest was part of the second Worldwide Freedom Rally, which was hosted in 45 cities across the world, including in Toronto, Ontario, where People's Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier called out politicians like NDP leader Jagmeet Singh for labelling freedom-minded protesters in Canada as racists.
Recently, Singh publicly suggested that there is a link between people who “don’t wear a mask” and “far-right extremists” who don’t care about other people. Calgary’s mayor, Naheed Nenshi, also accused people who march at freedom rallies “as marching in thinly veiled white nationalist supremacist anti-government protests.”
I decided to ask what mainstream media journalists won’t: I asked the very people these politicians are slapping labels on, including the rallies organizers, Danielle Kinchella-Pistelli, and Alicia Johnson, if they are, in fact, part of a far-right extremist, white nationalist/supremacist movement, and if not, what the actual purpose of their protest was for.

Misprints In Over 14,000 Mail-In Ballots Causes Multi-Day Delay In PA Election Results.
Thousands of mail-in primary ballots in a Pennsylvania election contained errors rendering them unable for scanning, forcing officials to launch a multi-day hand count of the votes.
“Elections officials said Michigan Elections Resources printed multi-sheet ballots in the wrong order, so the scanners are rejecting those ballots,” local media in Lancaster Country reported.
Discovered on Tuesday in the early morning, the error affected 14,000 mail-in ballots and will take three to four days to rectify.
“Those are being put in bins by themselves, the rejected bins. They will be put in a secure location and then hopefully starting Friday, as long as we can get the amount of people we’re going to need in order to do this, we’ll start to hand count those on Friday,” said Christa Miller, of the Lancaster County Board of Elections.
“Officials said election results from the polling places and the mail ballots that are able to be scanned will be posted after the polls close Tuesday night, but full results won’t be available until the hand count is completed,” local news added.

35 House Republicans Vote for Bill to Establish January 6 Commission
Thirty-five House Republicans voted Wednesday to establish a commission to investigate the riots and protests on January 6.
The House passed H.R. 3233, the National Commission to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol Complex Act, with 252 votes in favor and 175 votes against the bill.
While the bill featured strong Democrat support, the legislation also had surprisingly strong support from House Republicans.
Thirty-five House Republicans voted for the legislation, even though House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) came out against the bill. He criticized House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for not negotiating in good faith.

The ten House Republicans who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump also voted for the commission to investigate the riots on January 6.
The 35 House Republicans run counter to some House Republicans, such as Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), who contended on the House floor before the vote that many committees already have the ability to investigate the incidents on January 6.
Rep. Lance Gooden (R-TX) said in a statement after the vote that Pelosi hopes the commission distracts from the Democrats’ many crises.
He said, “This partisan legislation was designed to distract the American people from the unprecedented crisis at our border, Joe Biden’s wasteful tax-and-spend policies, and the fact Democrats would rather defend radical Islamic terrorists in Palestine than support our allies in Israel.”

CDC deputy director resigns after emails reveal teachers’ union lobbied to keep schools closed
The teachers’ union pressured the CDC to amend its public health guidance on how and when schools should reopen, basing the policy on politics rather than on COVID science.
ATLANTA, May 19, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — Communications unearthed in early May between the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) show that the second biggest teachers’ union in the country lobbied the CDC to have school reopening delayed. Weeks later, CDC top brass resign.
Emails obtained by the New York Post confirm correspondence between the two organizations, with the AFT pressuring the CDC to amend its public health guidance on how and when schools should reopen, basing the policy on politics rather than on science and statistics.
Corey A. DeAngelis, senior fellow at the libertarian think tank Reason Foundation, told Fox Business that the discovery “really confirms what we knew all along, that the whole school reopening debate has been more to do with political partisanship and power dynamics than safety and the needs of families.” DeAngelis pointed to the findings of his March study, “Are School Reopening Decisions Related to Union Influence?”
DeAngelis found that “there was no statistically significant relationship between the reopening decisions and the risk of the virus in the area.” Ultimately, his study concluded that “school closures are uncorrelated with the actual incidence of the virus, but are rather strongly associated with unionization.” This implies that “the decision to close schools has been a political — not scientific — decision,” he said.
According to the Post, the CDC were on the cusp of introducing instructions for schools to reopen for regular tuition. Emails from AFT senior advisor for health issues Kelly Trautner, obtained through a freedom of information request by conservative watchdog Americans for Public Trust, show the powerful teachers’ union thanking CDC Director Rochelle Walensky for her “genuine desire to earn our [AFT] confidence and your commitment to partnership” on February 3.
Trautner confirmed that the AFT was able “to review a copy of the draft guidance document over the weekend [before February 1] and … to provide some initial feedback to several staff this morning about possible ways to strengthen the document.”
“We believe our experiences on the ground can inform and enrich thinking around what is practicable and prudent in future guidance documents,” she wrote, adding further thanks “for Friday’s rich discussion about forthcoming CDC guidance and for your openness to the suggestions made by our president, Randi Weingarten, and the AFT.” Walensky, though not copied into the February 1 email, was forwarded the correspondence by White House coronavirus testing coordinator Carol Johnson.
