AZ Audit is adding a shift and more vetting...

To those of you who have previously applied to work the audit...

We have added a third shift and are vetting volunteers who are available to work multiple shifts per week.

8 AM – 1 PM

2 PM – 7 PM

8 PM – 1 AM

While we initially used a Google form (then other platforms) for volunteer observers to indicate interest, with the counter process also having migrated into volunteer mode we have consolidated efforts to vet more audit workers and are reaching out to those of you who've already filled out the form and most likely sent in your voter identification card along with three letters of recommendation.

Because of increased security and other concerns, we have expanded the requirements to move potential volunteers toward the final steps of the intake process for the unpaid volunteer positions:

-Maricopa County registered voter

-Voted in the November 2020 election

-No physical limitations that would hinder their work counting ballots, such as vision or hearing problems or any other physical limitation that you feel would cause a hinderance.

-Able to sit for 5 hours at a time doing repetitive activity.

-Required temperature screening upon entrance and wear a mask or face shield while onsite.

-A background check going back 10 years is required to be completed (no credit check). U.S. government issued identification is required to be uploaded and your social security number provided. The completed application is sent directly to the background check company.
