Biden Aims To Rehire Obama Title IX Enforcer Opposed To Due Process

President Joe Biden this month nominated Catherine Lhamon to the post she held in the Obama administration, where as assistant secretary for civil rights within the Department of Education she was in charge of enforcing Title IX protections against sex discrimination.
During her tenure at the Office for Civil Rights between 2013 and 2017, Lhamon eroded due process rights for individuals accused of sexual misconduct on university and college campuses, pressing schools to implement the preponderance-of-the-evidence standard and keep legal representation out of the process. Lhamon also pushed universities to embrace an adjudication model for sexual misconduct cases that relies on a single campus administrator.
After four years of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos reversing the damage done by Lhamon and reimplementing due process rights at American schools, Lhamon is positioned to reclaim her old job title in the new administration.
The nomination, however, has drawn criticism from the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, which released a statement the day of her announcement urging lawmakers to reject her confirmation.
“Under Lhamon’s leadership, the Office for Civil Rights enforced guidance that gutted due process protections and violated the First Amendment,” the group wrote. “Lhamon used that guidance to pressure institutions to restrict constitutionally protected speech and disregard basic procedural protections in campus disciplinary hearings.”

Texas Governor Signs Heartbeat Bill Protecting Unborn Children From ‘Ravages Of Abortion’

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed a pro-life bill into law on Wednesday effectively banning abortions in the Lone Star State once an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detected.
“Our creator endowed us with the right to life, and yet, millions of children lose their right to life every year because of abortion in Texas. We work to save those lives,” Abbott said at the bill’s signing. “And that’s exactly what the Texas Legislature did this session. They worked together on a bipartisan basis to pass a bill that I’m about to sign that ensures that the life of every unborn child who has a heartbeat will be saved from the ravages of abortion.”
The heartbeat bill is now LAW in the Lone Star State.

Under the new Texas Heartbeat Act, “a physician may not knowingly perform or induce an abortion on a pregnant woman unless the physician has determined, in accordance with this section, whether the woman’s unborn child has a detectable fetal heartbeat,” which usually happens around six weeks gestation.
The law takes effect later this year and will allow Texans to sue abortion facilities or even individuals who assisted in getting an illegal abortion for a woman. While the statute exempts medical emergencies from the new restrictions, abortions in cases of rape or incest are still subject to the limitations presented in the heartbeat act.
During the legislative process, the bill was largely opposed by Democrats and pro-baby-killing groups. According to the Texas Tribune, “hundreds of lawmakers and doctors” sent letters opposing the legislation’s “broad legal language” over the possibility of lawsuits. National and state pro-life groups, however, celebrated the law as a victory that will help protect the lives of the unborn.
“We thank Governor Abbott and pro-life legislators in Texas for enacting a law that reveals the humanity of unborn children in the womb,” said Susan B. Anthony List State Policy Director Sue Liebel. “There is a groundswell of pro-life activity happening in state legislatures across the nation as lawmakers challenge the extreme status quo permitted by Roe: abortion on-demand, up until the moment of birth. Since January, 536 pro-life bills have been introduced with more than 60 signed into law — a strong rebuke of the deeply unpopular abortion agenda being pursued by the Biden-Harris administration and their allies in the abortion lobby.”
Texas Right to Life told the Tribune the new law lets citizens hold abortion providers “accountable through private lawsuits” and provides a new avenue to protect life that has not been seized by other states.
“The Texas Heartbeat Act is the strongest pro-life bill passed by the Legislature since Roe v. Wade,” said Rebecca Parma, the organization’s senior legislative associate.

Harris said the quiet part out loud on behalf of Democrats. The left has seized the opportunity during the coronavirus to implement massive federal spending, shut down the economy, and cave to teachers’ unions looking to remain virtual, to the dismay of parents and students.
Last March, Democrats led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tried to push several non-pandemic-related leftist wish list items into the more than $2 trillion spending bill, which was 880 pages long. This included expanded tax credits for wind and solar power, required diversity in banks and on corporate boards, and a ban on states being able to resist mail-in voting. It even included a ban on colleges and universities requiring students to disclose whether they are a U.S. citizen.
Other leftists have echoed sentiments similar to Harris’s COVID remarks, with actress Jane Fonda calling coronavirus “God’s gift to the left.” More than 584,000 people have reportedly died of COVID-19 in the United States.

Judge STOPS Biden’s Racist COVID Relief Policy After Trump Advisor Stephen Miller Sued The Administration
A judge from the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas sided with Stephen Miller’s America First Legal (AFL) against the Biden Regime’s policy of discriminating against white business owners in the COVID relief plan.
The Judge specifically filed a restraining order against the Small Business Administration (SBA) in defense of a Texas Restaurant owner who has not gotten relief from the SBA Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF), despite losing revenue during the pandemic.
The Biden Regime passed the American Rescue Plan Package earlier this year. Much of the financial aid allotted to small businesses within the spending bill prioritized minorities and nonwhites over white business owners. The Judge wrote in his statement that the “Defendants’ [the Biden Administration’s] use of race-based and sex-based preferences in the administration of the RRF violates the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution.”
Stephen Miller, former Senior Adviser to President Donald Trump, and his America First Legal nonprofit said in a statement that “This ruling is the first, but crucial, step towards ending government-sponsored racial discrimination. We are proud to have obtained this order for our courageous client at this initial stage, but we have a long way to go.” The statement went on to explain the case further: “the government puts some owners at the back of the line for access to a limited pool of money based on their race. So we are presented with a simple but vital question: can the government reward or punish American citizens based upon the color of their skin or the ancestry of their families? We all know the answer.”
The decision is a crushing blow to the Biden Regime, as it tries to move ahead with a radical and anti-white agenda. Biden has capitulated to the radical left on ‘racial justice’ issues, which is why policies such as giving nonwhites preferential treatment went through. This latest ruling by the Northern District is a massive setback to such initiatives, because it sets a precedent for invalidating these policies going forward.

The vote is part of a long-shot effort called Move Oregon’s Border for a Greater Idaho. The movement seeks to break with the far more liberal portion of the state beyond the Cascade Mountains in favor of joining Idaho, a state which proponents believe is far more in tune with the values of rural America. The “Greater Idaho” movement also has its eyes on a portion of Northern California
The five Oregon counties listed above join Jefferson and Union Counties, which had already voted in favor of the move last November. The Sherman County ballot requires county commissioners to promote realigning the borders, while the other four counties voted to require commissioners to meet periodically to discuss the prospects of moving the border.
The vote was not very close in any of the counties, with Malhuer County voting 3,050-2,572 in favor of the measure; Sherman County voting 429-260 in favor; Grant County voting 1,471-895 in favor; Baker County voting 3,064-2,307 in favor, and Lake County voting 1,341-463 in favor. Across the five counties, nearly 60 percent of residents voted to study a move to neighboring Idaho.
It’s an extremely long-shot proposal with some seriously tough hills to climb. In order to secede from Oregon into a “Greater Idaho,” the movement would need the approval from the states of Oregon, California, and Idaho, not to mention the U.S. Congress. But supporters are hoping that if enough pressure can be brought to bear at the county and local levels, the states and Congress might be forced to take the move seriously.
“This election proves that rural Oregon wants out of Oregon. If Oregon really believes in liberal values such as self-determination, the Legislature won’t hold us captive against our will,” said Mike McCarter, president of Citizens for a Greater Idaho. “If we’re allowed to vote for which government officials we want, we should be allowed to vote for which government we want as well.”
Overall, the measure would move up to 22 of Oregon’s counties into Idaho.Voters in Harney County, just east of the Cascades, and Douglas County, which is on the Pacific Coast, are scheduled to vote on similar proposals in upcoming elections.

WHO: Give Us Total Control And COVID Will Be ‘The Last Pandemic’
How thinly veiled can blackmail and extortion get? The totally corrupt World Health Organization is calling for global surveillance, authority and billions more in funding in order to ensure that there won’t be pandemics in the future.
If the WHO has the ability to stop future pandemics, then they could have stopped the current one. Or, did they create this one in the first place? This is a straight-forward shakedown of the entire planet, reminiscent of mobsters in Chicago who would approach a store owner and say, “For a mere $500 per week, we will protect your store from burning down like Mr. Jones’ experienced down the street.”
The 7 recommendations from the WHO are:
Elevate pandemic preparedness and response to the highest level of political leadership.
Strengthen the independence, authority and financing of WHO.
Invest in preparedness now to prevent the next crisis.
A new agile and rapid surveillance information and alert system.
Establish a pre-negotiated platform for tools and supplies.
Raise new international financing for pandemic preparedness and response.
National Pandemic Coordinators have a direct line to Head of State or Government.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has released a report calling for greater authority for itself in countries around the globe, a global surveillance system, as well as billions more dollars in financing for itself.
In a report released this month entitled, COVID-19: Make it the Last Pandemic, a group called the “Independent Panel” established by the WHO, analyzed the global response to the Wuhan Virus and delivered a strong message for international changes.
They state, “Our message is loud and clear: no more pandemics. If we fail to take this goal seriously, we will condemn the world to successive catastrophes.”
“On the basis of its diagnosis of what went wrong at each stage of the COVID-19 response, the Panel makes […] seven recommendations directed to ensuring that a future outbreak does not become a pandemic. Each recommendation is linked directly back to evidence of what has gone wrong. To be successful they must be implemented in their entirety.”
The panel is co-chaired Rt Hon. Helen Clark, former Prime Minister of New Zealand and H.E. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, former President of Liberia and Nobel Laureate and includes eleven other professionals from around the world.
Patrick Wood, Editor in Chief of Technocracy News told LifeSiteNews that, were the recommendations of the report to be implemented, “the top political leaders of each nation would become the puppets of the WHO, whenever it decides to declare a pandemic.”
“The WHO is not and never has been independent,” Wood continued. “Rather, it is a key agency of the United Nations and subservient to its ideology. It seeks additional authority over nations and needs money to accomplish it. Nobody prevents a virus from spreading, so the call for more funding is spurious at best. After contributing to the current crisis, they want to prevent the next one?”
Wood told LifeSiteNews that “total surveillance” is “the holy grail” of the “sustainable development” agenda, which he says can also be described as the “technocracy” agenda.
“This is a fast-track conduit/supply chain for Big Pharma to push its gene therapy shots and vaccines to a generally uninformed global citizenry,” Wood added.
