He knew it would fail tho

Meant to fail, anybody but a total illiterate would know - dat was biggest redpill for me

i new DS had ambitions but was when i did dat dig 9 yrs ago that i found out how far along they really were

qresear.ch

dunno who else, imagine there are individuals like x22, others, who drop in

but who knows?

problem used to be that some good posts din get notabled

now, everything including baker's hangnails gets in...

like flooding the channel - way too much info mixed in with total junk, who wants to read that?

"wall of text" is no good

hopeless to wish, but just think what qr could be like with baker-bv's organizing stuff, mebbe shorter breads (500), vetting sys like we had in summer (make no apologies for dat, got attacked coz it was working). also cleaning out real spam or nasty personal attacks designed to divide and rule.

the only reason for it being baker-bv's is coz bakering tests people, ya got to have some way to vet those who bv. not perfect but pretty good - u get to know who u can trust and who's a little iffy. another route would be finding staff among steady note-takers (make it a real job) or responsible diggers/old-fags. but they'd have to have a name or an avatar at least, so they could gain a reputation like RA or ArchiveAnon. Reputation is good not bad - builds trust.

name doesn't mean ego - just a convenience. but also a way to form positive relationships, which shills know very well. why they always screech 'bout 'name fagging.' you think any of dem shills are some kinda spiritual renunciates or sumtin? Doubt it!

corruption of education goes back to before i was in school by decades. Got red of phonics in the 1930s, "look-say" in 1950s ok for some but a disaster for dyslexics.

Skinner wanted teaching machines - to program kids. Like...computers? Then

Benjamin Bloom became influential - focus was on "cognitive" triangle but real goal was "social-emotional" triangle - dat's where we're at now. Pretense was to focus on "advanced" skills not mere facts - coz they know that facts/history/culture form the basis for all real learning. Erase cultural norms and facts and all you've got is relativistic opinions - post-modernistic BS.

kitchen developed baking traditions, along with input from anons. Worked well for a long time, kitch withstood a lotta attacks. oss made a dent last yr due to 2 things:

  • exploiting new vetting process, making it look elitist (which it wasn't, bc anyone could still bake - we jus din want brand new bakers "practicing" a live bake when Q might post.)

  • repeatedly lying outright and also grossly exaggerating any small mistakes made by bakers (90% lying tho)

Mebbe also the idea that "anyone can bake." Got less and less enthused 'bout that over time. Fuggen shills or crazies come in and try to mess things up. Sure anyone can bake - provided they actually know how and respect baking traditions. Why not?
