  1. endothelial injury (damage to the lining of blood vessels)

 

  1. venous stasis (slowing of the blood flow in the veins).

 

with the covid jabs, you've got two out of three risk factors

possibly all three, because clotting tendency would also cause venous stasis, wouldn't it?

(and this is just about the risk of developing clots AFTER surgery - what is the risk of developing them DURING surgery?)
