After which, it was decided that Professor Fourtillan should be admitted.
The professor’s supporters said that the decision was proof of “a corrupt government” and showed that Paris was “under the control of laboratories”. One supporter said that the decision was “unfounded”, and designed to “quieten someone who is totally sound of mind, but who is annoying people through his words and his work, which do not reflect the official line of medical and other methods to fight Covid-19”.

A Covid-skeptical professor imprisoned in France

Professor Jean-Bernard Fourtillan has been indicted since March 2020 for having conducted therapeutic trials on more than 350 patients without authorization.
Professor Fourtillan, speaking in France on a controversial documentary on the Covid, and prosecuted in an investigation for illegal therapeutic trials, was imprisoned on Saturday before an upcoming hearing on his detention, AFP learned from a judicial source on Saturday.
This 77-year-old pharmacy professor, figure of the Covid-skeptical and anti-vaccine sphere, was arrested Thursday in a hotel in the center of the country under an arrest warrant issued by an investigating judge from the health pole of the Paris court, according to the Aurillac prosecution. Incarcerated in the wake of the time to organize his transfer to Paris, he was presented on Saturday to the examining magistrate to whom he had not responded for several months.
The magistrate, in accordance with the requisitions of the Paris prosecutor's office, seized the judge of freedoms and detention of a possible revocation of his judicial control, according to the judicial source. But the professor asked for a few days to prepare his defense and was jailed on Saturday awaiting the hearing by Wednesday.
Anti-vaccine positions

Professor Jean-Bernard Fourtillan, who has strong support shown on social networks, was also highlighted in the documentary “Hold-Up”. He affirms that the virus "was manufactured by the Pasteur Institute", false information denied by the Institute, which lodged a complaint against him.
