Anon appears to be correct that this is a landfill. However, appears to only cover period starting, say, 2015 or so.

Not visible in air photo from 2014 (claimed to be Dec. 31).

Visible in air photo from October 2016.

Wonder what they were doing prior to 2014.

Anon a couple of nights ago suggested incineration, but I think that would include some sort of smokestack or chimney that I don't see on the island.

(Not to mention, if they did have incineration capability, why start a landfill area ca. 2015?)

Is it unusual to be able to direct a message to every iPhone within the plane?

Obviously you could send a mass message out to a list of everyone in your contacts.

But a very specific list of people in a confined geographic location, most/all of which you do not know?
