Neat idea, but the "hinge point" is caulked in at the base of the wall, and it is normal and a requirement to have expansion joints in a concrete slab to prevent/control cracking.

Take a look at any concrete slab anywhere.

I'm not saying that something like this doesn't exist, just not what you are pointing out.
