i worked closely with him for six weeks, as much as i work here, initially helped build his board up - relieved him of some of the baking and training the other baker (barkeep). Only bc 8 was down and we needed a working place after sept 5. Always super bossy, i had to keep backing off. After a while, noticed he wanted to replace 8 as centerpiece - warned him about it every single time - but didn't work. he wants to be "the guy." He is self-centered, self-aggrandizing and stubborn to the nth degree - and oblivious to the perspectives of others. But not malicious as a person, not like oss. prolly mentally ill, saw many examples, so did others.
OSS is full of malice and deceit - purely destructive. Sneaky and conniving from the start, imo.
Gerbil has done a LOT of damage, so he doesn't get off the hook. It was the concern with Gerbil's split bakes and refusal to back off that made us try to vet bakers, so he paved the way for Oss. Helped hand him 8 on a silver platter.
