Turtles actually wasn't that bad, it was about justice and the first movie was actually great fun. Jim Henson masterwork.

The first movie was about kids getting brought into a criminal organisation, getting drugs and alcohol and other crap and stealing shit. I can't really find much wrong with it, in fact all the major studios didn't want anything to do with it, it was actually a low budget movie with spectacular puppet effects that still hold up today.
