Lies Pile up on Day One of the January 6th Hearings
Today was day one of the hearings on January 6th, held by Nancy Pelosi’s partisan select committee. What transpired was a sideshow of fake crying and irrelevant, sometimes questionable testimony from Capitol Police officers who offered absolutely nothing of substance in regards to fixing the security issues that plagued the Capitol that day.
Of course, because we are dealing with an event strictly meant to cause an emotional reaction, not actually accomplish anything, the lies flowed freely.
To start, Bennie Thompson, who himself objected to the electoral college in 2004, claimed that seven people lost their lives.
Actually, if we are going to use the broad rubric that Thompson is using, thousands of people lost their lives for a variety of different reasons across the country. Regardless, only one was a direct result of something done at the Capitol that day. That would be Ashli Babbitt, who was shot and killed by an unidentified police officer. ...
Then there was the claim that January 6th was the worst attack on the Capitol since 1812.... the Capitol building has been bombed numerous times throughout its history, resulting in extensive damage. The idea that the meandering trespassers of January 6th represented a greater threat than literally being shot or blown up does not pass muster.
The witnesses also got in on the act. [refers to stmt about hiring a hit man, and how the one who hires also goes to jail - completely irrevelent.]
Nothing worthwhile is going to come from this stunt.....

If the Administration Wants to Overcome 'Vaccine Hesitancy,' Maybe It Should Order CDC to Put a Sock in It
No totalitarian state can survive without an identifiable domestic enemy that can be used to whip up popular anger. Stalin did it with the kulaks and ‘social parasites.’ Mao railed about the “Nine Black Categories” of landlords, rich farmers, anti-revolutionaries, bad influences, right-wingers, traitors, spies, capitalist-roaders, and intellectuals. Joe Biden is no different. Today there are dozens of Americans held for months without bail for the federal equivalent of a jaywalking ticket because they walked into the US Capitol, often waved in by the same Capitol Police officers who are sniveling on Capitol Hill today. For the past few months, Biden and his cronies have begun ratcheting up the anger against the millions of Americans who are deemed to be “vaccine hesitant” or called “anti-vaxxers.”
Why would someone who has taken the vaccine care about someone not taking it? It seems that the idea is that if you haven’t taken the vaccine, then you are a really bad person because you might get sick and give the virus to someone else who is not vaccinated and, therefore, a really bad person. Or something. The main thrust of this is that you are revealing yourself to be a really selfish person by refusing to take an experimental vaccine.
Until today.
Earlier today, the CDC declared that it wanted vaccinated people to wear the mask while indoors, just like the schlubs who refused the vaccine. Why pray tell?
It is difficult to believe that CDC took this step if, as they claim, vaccinated people being highly contagious was a “rare” event. Typically, we don’t make arbitrary policies affecting millions of people based on rare happenings. What CDC has done is the equivalent of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration mandating cars be designed to protect the occupants from falling trees. Either the meaning of “rare” has been stretched beyond belief, or there was a political reason for CDC to make this call. (I have my suspicions.)
Be that as it may, this is an exercise in self-defeating behavior from a governing claque that claims it wants to convince more people to get vaccinated…seemingly at gunpoint if necessary....

Twitter has just suspended the “Audit War Room” accounts of multiple states including Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Georgia, and Arizona. This comes on the same day as the start of the January 6 Select Committee hearings. Earlier today, National File reported that the Audit War Room account for Arizona was suspended, which prompted a response from Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers, who said “Twitter just suspended the Arizona Audit account as well as the Audit War Room account. Follow me on Telegram and Gab for when I am booted. I will be next.”
The state of Wisconsin has just announced that they will be conducting a full forensic audit of the 2020 election due to evidence of voter fraud in the state, as National File reported. “The amount of absentee voting taking place has exposed issues surrounding ballot curing, ‘indefinitely confined’ electors, ballot harvesting and how our tabulators actually work. As I’ve traveled around our state as Chair of the Campaigns and Elections committee, voters have made it clear that they want a thorough, cyber-forensic examination of tabulators, ballot marking devices and other election equipment, which I will be helping facilitate on behalf of the committee as the chair,” said Wisconsin State Representative Janel Brandtjen.
In the Grand Canyon State, the Arizona Senate has served Maricopa County with another subpoena relating to the forensic audit of the 2020 election, asking for ballot envelopes, routers, and voter databases, among other requests, as National File reported.
The new subpoena follows various claims from the team behind the Maricopa forensic audit, which have been much maligned by the mainstream press. Doug Logan, the CEO of Cyber Ninjas, the firm hired by the Arizona Senate to conduct the audit, told the Senate at hearings earlier this month that a large number of ballots contained duplicated serial numbers. He later confirmed 74,000 EV33 forms, for ballots received by Maricopa County, did not have matching EV32s, implying that they had not been sent. Two-thirds want BLM riots probed, more than Jan. 6
Far more voters want the race riots of 2020 investigated than the Jan. 6 Capitol protests, including overwhelming majorities of blacks and Hispanics.
In a new Rasmussen Reports survey that challenges the media’s theme about the public’s view of both events, majorities of likely voters also back police and reject suggestions of racism by law enforcement.
And in one example of that, 65% disagreed with Black Lives Matter activists who have claimed that Old Glory and the pro-police “Thin Blue Line” flags are symbols of racism, said the survey done with the National Police Association.
Overall, 66% said that they want the Black Lives Matter riots investigated. According to the survey, there were 574 violent clashes and over 2,000 police were injured. Just 49% said they support House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s partisan investigation of the Jan. 6 riots.....
