I think I see a pattern.
Belzer does a good job with the book if one takes it seriously, I think. However, a lot of it, though true, is so "far out" it could be easily discounted?
Belzer Points out the ridiculousness of what people accepts as the official story.
Some of his material I can confirm from my own research, but other things I'd have to double-check. If he's an insider, he's likely the only source for some of that? All this would lead people to believe it's a comedy book.
