archive.is shows the original archived URL.
If you archived a photoshop image, it wouldn't show a twitter.com URL. And at best you could post a photoshopped image on twitter and archive that, but it would then show your twitter account, and not @jack

I have never seen that happen, except for illegal content, which wayback machine as well as archive.is will delete, like cp (unlike @jack)
Wayback machine is buggy though, so sometimes it tells you something got archived, but it wasn't. You should always verify archived links when they are very important like this here.
Without URL nor archived link, you got nothing. That was my point. If you post a screenshot without that info embedded, the user has to use search engines to hopefully discover the original URL and hopefully find an archived URL
Even just adding the original URL can help a ton, that's why I never understand people making screenshots but not adding that important info to the screenshot.
