8949.....ghost bake picked up by baker temp.

8950.....RGB picks up; bakes thru 8956

8957.....unidentified baker picks up; not too many notes (wants noms? not clear)

8958.....baker1369 picks up bake thru 8960. v short descriptions, few diggs in notes

8960.....anons unhappy, some call for BO to act

8960.....BO issues orders for changes

8960.....Anon objects to orders

8960.....Q gives a "you" to objecting anon

8961.....new BO protocol goes into effect

 

Comments

  1. Doubtful RGB--or any one baker-- is source of the problem. It's more like the combo of too few bakers and too long baker runs is a problem (but one that comes from BO, see below). Bakers like RGB do long runs now to ensure coverage.

  2. The combo of long baking run and subsequent bakers not seeming responsivecaused a lot of anon frustration. (Shilling was really bad that day, makes it hard for bakers to separate wheat from chaff.)

  3. BO took this opportunity to implement a Draconian plan that would cause massive chaos on the board. He's been undermining it from the start and is the #1 cause underlying many board problems.

 

Modest proposal for future success

  1. No moar @FastJack or captchas.

  2. New bakers supported/encouraged to alleviate baker shortage. Much easier wo oppressive mgmt.

  3. Very long baker runs discouraged assuming we have decent-size baker pool and bakers who want to bake.

  4. Bakers trying to be responsive to anons while standing up to shills. Communicate w/anons, too.

  5. Anons encouraged to nom notes but bakers expected to pick up obvious news items of the day, planefag reports, etc.

  6. Anons encouraged to include descriptions with noms; makes life so much easier for bakers (please anons?).

  7. Know that every post gets looked at by whomever watches this board--and used by them (I was told this & trust it). So no unnotabled dig really goes to waste. Notables are for us and the gen'l public.

 

With supportive BO, moar bakers, shorter baker runs, and a little moar anon responsibility, we can create a board that runs even better than in the past.
