I have a thought that seems partly relevant to your post. I have think that Trump bears some similarities to Biblical Jehu. Jehu ended the worship of Baal in Israel. He pretended to "outdo" the worshipers of Baal but it was rather a double cross, because when they were all assembled he had them killed. In 2 Kings 10:27-28 it says this (I'm using NKJV) "Then they broke down the sacred pillar of Baal, and tore down the temple of Baal and made it a refuse dump to this day. Thus Jehu destroyed Baal from Israel."
Borrowing from some teaching I got through listening to Mark Taylor, I understand that this false god "Baal" has many representations. "Columbia" is according to him, one of those. Where is the current "seat of power" in the US? Isn't it Washington, Disctrict of Columbia?
People have been calling the Washington Monument an obelisk for a long time. If Trump is like Jehu then do you think some physical structures in Washington DC might be destroyed such as the "obelisk"?
