Being "smart" is VERY overrated.
You have to know stuff and you have to work.
Trump literally owned an airline and he spent much of his life as a real estate developer in NYC.
Most people didn't.
So unless they studied physics or engineering at length, snap judgements on such issues would be misguided for MOST.
You also need to have courage to go against the flow when required (and to change your opinion when needed). Without that smarts will lead you astray.
