>Wayback new to me

All threads like this one are automatically getting archived on wayback.

Wayback works, but is slow, so sometimes you archive something, and it says "wasn't archived" for 3 hours despite it having an archive. It will show up later though.

archive today is better in that regard, wayback sometimes also misses thumbnails, but archive today requires captcha every 10 minutes or so.

Originally I archived using archive today as well, but they introduced captcha, so I can't use that one atm.

>If so, what will you do?

>Rusty

All videos within that were already archived on wayback.

I can reupload so that they get archived on 128donkeys too.

Anyway, anonfiles.com links were included for all videos, so nothing is lost regardless.

>archive.today very speedy by comparison

Yes, but it requires captcha.

If you know the owner of that one, or know someone else, mabbe the owner can turn it off for me somehow, because otherwise I can't use it.

Got code for it already, and I used it 16 months ago too, but captcha was added, so it doesn't work.

I could solve a captcha every day and try to archive threads during that time, still archive today has a archive limiter too, so you can't archive 100 URLs within a minute.

It works fine.

I can also repost including wayback links.

No, if we got no personal connection, I'm not sure if he would be willing to switch Captchas off for us. It's a shame.

>>91744

I posted them all in the first place.

As I said, anonfiles links are included, so nothing is lost.

But I'm willing to recreate the thread, so it can get archived on wayback for easy click through for shorter videos.

>if you recreate the thread here, you'll have figure out how to archive daily

Sticky resource threads are now marked, and they get archived automatically within 1 hour after any new post.

I implemented that a few hours ago.

>same archivist that was trying to help us archive stuff on the "how to baker" classes last year?

No.

I'm the one who is archiving qr since mid 2020 though.

A baker talked about it being a shame that all images and especially videos would get lost in March or February 2020. I jumped in, and then implemented it in full a few months later.

Start July 2020.

>where will the info be placed?

Just search for the thread URL on wayback.

No need for any info.

Every single (new) graphic will also get archived immediately. All files.

Pls upload PDFs + videos if you can. Those are also archived.

What I need atm is code for automatically posting for notable posting.

With that I could also implement code that would post a wayback URL in these threads after they were archived.

Yes, when you archive threads, only thumbnails are archived that way, so higher resolution images would get lost.

Same for videos + PDFs.

These are archived separately, which allows you to click on the left URL on top of the thumbnail, that way you get the full resolution image, or video, or PDF.

for example this post here:

>>91743

You see the URL above the thumbnail?

https://images.128ducks.com/file_store/461efecb56a00342050fbb690660f817261330de6381f6cde4d8d9319c9d47f3.jpg

That's the full resolution link, and it gets archived automatically for high res images, but also when the post is marked as notable by baker. Videos + PDF are ALWAYS archived.

I'm on it, pretty sure that is going to work. Shills have their post scripts too. If they can, I should be able to do it as well.

>if the graphics in all notable posts are uploaded

That has been the case for months now.

Member though especially for /qr/ - when notables take 1.5 days to get posted, then the images will be gone until then.

On here it's not a problem because it doesn't happen.

>>91759

Not Javascript though. Javascript sucks.

>are uploaded

wait, no, it gets archived, not uploaded.

No real difference though.

I could upload to anonfiles, but my bandwidth is limited, so I can't upload tons of stuff. The more there is the longer it takes.

>what you use to code?

I'm using a R/3 at home.

R/3 is SAP, which uses ABAP as a programming language.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ABAP

ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) is a high-level programming language created by the German software company SAP SE. It is currently positioned, alongside Java, as the language for programming the SAP NetWeaver Application Server, which is part of the SAP NetWeaver platform for building business applications.

Used by big business around the world.

Very nice for data storage and data processing.

Built-in SQL too. (SQL = database managing language)
