>New RES-type for threads implemented.

>Sticky resource threads now marked as such.

>Bread will get archived as soon as anything gets added (every hour)

>ALL files posted within will get archived too.

To fix the images inside several resource breads, we could recreate them.

I wrote code that should be able to extract the original post including formatting, and thus we could easily repost them in another thread. Only need the images, not all were archived. Other way mabbe repost these images?

In resource breads like the virus one, all PDFs should have been uploaded as well, so that these would get archived too.

Were these images saved somewhere locally on a PC?

wayback archiving is up-to-date.

According to logs I'm missing out on 6 images that were supposed to get saved in "QRB General #582: Potato Plus Making The Rounds In Potatolands Edition", but I got'em all in follow-up breads.

for the resource threads, we could recreate these threads to get all images archived, but only bigger images were archived in these, and thus the one posting these images would have to repost them again.

>i have most of the images, because most of the posts are mine.

Good

>but they are not organized or labelled except by time - i'm now on folder 28.

Well, we got the filenames, shouldn't be that difficult to find them.

I can extract all the posts (including formatting), so you won't have to copy these over and recreate formatting manually. Can give that data to you, maybe sometime later.

Resource breads are now archived completely as soon as anything new gets posted, this means if you post 4 images, even very small ones, these will get archived individually on wayback immediately.

As I said, pls also upload PDFs now, because that way they will get saved.

wayback is slightly garbage though.

This image last bread:

wayback says "donknow dis image, wasn't archived by me"

but I got the archived URL and that works.

No need, when they are recreated, they will get archived immediately including all files.

Of course it won't be perfect, because you will have to jump through various versions of such bread to get all the files, but at least they will be there.

Not even sure how wayback will handle it, if the image got archived before and is 404 later. Maybe wayback will even fix it and show thumbnails in later backups. We will have to test that.

wait no, no need to go through multiple versions.

The latest one will still have the links, and every file will have been archived, so even if there is no thumbnail anymore, you will still get the full image when clicking on it.
