KING COUNTY LOCAL HEALTH OFFICER ORDER: VACCINE VERIFICATION

 

The new Local Health Officer Order includes the following:

Beginning October 25, 2021 customers will be required to show proof of FDA or WHO approved

COVID-19 vaccination to enter:

• Outdoor events with 500 people or more (such as professional and collegiate sports and

entertainment events)

• Indoor recreational events or establishments regardless of size (such as professional and

collegiate sports, performing arts and live music venues, movie theaters, gyms, and

conferences/conventions)

• Restaurants and Bars. This applies to indoor dining. It does not apply to outdoor dining, take-

out customers, and places that are aren't primarily used for indoor dining such as grocery stores.

The order gives the option for a longer preparation period for smaller restaurants and bars with

a seating capacity of 12 or less, with an implementation date of December 6.

One of MANY emails sent to parents in King county and surrounding counties that I’ve seen. One person said they received three of these emails at another school and their child will be out for more than three weeks. How the hell is this more acceptable than kids remote learning?
