Solutions Architect - Central Bank Digital Currency

The Project

The Bank of Canada is embarking on a program of major social significance to design a contingent system for a central bank digital currency (CBDC), which can be thought of as a banknote, but in digital form. This project will require us to break new ground. It will take into consideration a wide variety of factors, including policy considerations, diverse stakeholder needs, difficult technical challenges and the development of a technical architecture to realize a CBDC pilot system.

The Challenges

We aim to design a CBDC with cash-like properties in digital form:

  • Private:While not aiming for cash-like anonymity, CBDC should be highly private yet meet the obligation to be compliant with anti-money laundering and other regulations.

*Universally accessible: Regardless of their circumstances, CBDC should be usable by all Canadians, even by those without a bank accountor access to a cellular phone, in remote communities not well served by cellular networks, and/or those with sensory, motor and cognitive impairments.

  • Resilient: CBDC should continue to work even during electrical power and network outages.

  • Secure: CBDC must have the highest levels of security so Canadians can use it with confidence, as they do our banknotes.

"While not aiming for cash-like anonymity"

Hilarious

Of course you are not aiming for that, kek

I saw videos of his ages ago, must have been before Q.

I think it was his channel with a video about video games, where it was said that some sound effects in vidya is basically tortured animals. Could be wrong with that.

No idea, found that video today after re-visiting his channel.

Maybe taken down, maybe also DDoS'd.

No idea.

Well, its connection refused.

This means that a server exists, but doesn't accept connections, which is kinda weird.

He also said IRC. Maybbe IRC port is open?

>Most games now seem more like traps than fun.

Yes, fully agreed.

Gaming has gone to shit now.

Games buggy as fuck on top.

Back then yes, I loved playing adventure games, but mine were graphic adventure games like the Sierra games, or LucasArts games. Those were fun.

Nowadays there are so many violent shooters and cabal symbolism everywhere.

Take for example Fortnite, that's a shooter, but not a violent one, and it's actually a really fair free to play game, really polished. Still filled with pyramid and masonic symbolism like certain emotes do that.

Or even take GTA for example. I really enjoyed the old ones, the ones on PS2, which had a comic look, stylized. I loved playing these, because they were open, you were able to solve missions in a real open world way. They stopped with that (creativity = bad, thinking yourself = bad) and nowadays it's fully scripted. Don't follow the script and it's game over.

I also don't like the realism. It's fucked up and I think it's creepy that so many people enjoy these games.

Just look at this shit

I even never understood why the hype about GTA didn't die out. GTA 4 was shit, had next to nothing in it even compared to GTA 3 for PS2, GTA SA on PS2 had so much going on. It only had better realistic graphics.

I never got GTA 5, but so many bought it. Why? I really don't get it.
