TALLAHASSEE, Fla.— Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody is taking legal action against the Biden administration for ignoring federal immigration law as the crisis at the United States Southern Border intensifies. According to federal law, arriving immigrants, including those claiming asylum, are required by law to be detained while immigration courts determine if there is a valid basis to enter the United States. As a result of the Biden administration’s illegal abdication of duty, U.S. Customs and Border Protection has already released more than 225,000 illegal border crossers this year.
Attorney General Ashley Moody said, “The Biden administration’s brazen disregard for federal immigration law is jeopardizing the safety and security of our state and nation, all while costing Florida taxpayers. Biden’s lax border policy is an open invitation to dangerous criminals, human traffickers and drug traffickers to enter the United States—creating a crisis at the Southern Border like we have never seen. Because Biden is not requiring those crossing the border to go through the legally mandated channels, they are coming into our country without being properly processed.
“The federal government cannot simply ignore federal laws because it does not agree with them politically. The Biden administration must implement the immigration policy required under federal law and we are asking the court to take swift action to reduce the harm caused by Biden’s inaction.”

According to the lawsuit, filed by Attorney General Moody today in the Northern District of Florida, the Biden administration claims its negligent response to the border crisis is due to a lack of resources and detention capacity to process the surge of migrants arriving at the border. However, the Biden administration is actively eliminating measures that increase its resources and detention capacity—such as the Migrant Protection Protocols, also known as the wait in Mexico policy, and even asked Congress to reduce the number of immigration detention beds available. These misguided policies are encouraging more migrants to make the dangerous journey to cross the Southern Border.
This policy is not just illegal, it is harmful to the safety and security of our state and nation. Some of those illegally crossing the border are serious criminals, such as human traffickers and drug traffickers—as made evident by the unprecedented amount of fentanyl being seized at the Southern Border. Thousands of the illegal immigrants that the Biden administration released are arriving or will soon arrive in Florida, forcing the state to incur millions of dollars in expenses. For example, the state of Florida’s prison system spends more than $100 million per year incarcerating individuals in the country illegally who are convicted of committing crimes in Florida—only a fraction of which is payed back by the federal government.
According to reports by CBP, in the entire month of December 2020, Border Patrol released 17 migrants into the U.S. interior following detention and service of notices to appear. By August 2021, that number rose to more than 40,000 (in a single month)—and the total number of unlawful aliens released by the Biden administration to more than 225,000.
Through today’s legal action, Attorney General Moody is demanding that the Biden administration at a minimum issue the required charging documents to arriving aliens and initiate removal proceedings.

GLENDALE, CA – Seven thieves broke into the Glendale Cryogenics Labratory and stole Walt Disney’s frozen head!
Police arrived at the California based cryogenics lab after receiving a phone call from the lab’s owner, Robert Sterling.
Security camera footage confirms that seven thieves broke down the front door of the building with the intent to steal. However, the camera was immediately disabled when one of the thieves shot it with a handgun.
Police found the security guard blindfolded and tied to his chair. No one else was on hand to witness the robbery, they said.
Representatives from Glendale Cryogenics say that the “Walt Disney Vault” is a popular tourist attraction for Disney fans who want to see their lifelong hero’s frozen head.
“Every day we get dozens of visitors wanting to see Disney’s head,” said Sterling, “and we never had any problems robberies. I don’t know how this happened. It is an unspeakable tragedy.”
Sterling said that when Walt Disney’s head was not on display, it was kept inside a steel-reinforced concrete vault in the back of the lab. The vault was sealed with a time lock that prevents the doors from opening until a certain number of hours have passed.
“These robbers were clearly professionals” said police safe-cracking expert Tony Nash. “They left no evidence of tampering or lock-picking, not even a fingerprint.”
Originally, police were unsure about the thieves’ motives in stealing Walt Disney’s head. But a ransom note found at the crime scene has cleared up some of the mystery.
“We are holding Disney’s head as collateral,” said the note, “and we will not rest until the Disney Channel terminates the smut and filth that permeates its airwaves. We will do whatever it takes to restore the Disney name to the symbol of morality and goodness it once was, even if that means bringing our leader back to life.”
Walt Disney had his head cryogenically frozen after his death of lung cancer in 1965, hoping that future generations would be able to discover a cure for his illness and revive him from cryonic suspension.
While the cure for cancer has yet to be found, authorities say that the prospect of “reanimating” Walt Disney is scientifically feasible.
“It’s likely that the thieves are trying to bring Walt Disney back to life as we speak,” said Sterling. “I don’t know what they’re planning to do with him, but I know it can’t be good.”

DEA ISSUES FIRST PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT IN 6 YEARS
The Drug Enforcement Administration issued a Public Safety Alert warning Americans of the alarming increase in the lethality and availability of fake prescription pills containing fentanyl and methamphetamine. DEA’s Public Safety Alert, the first in six years, seeks to raise public awareness of a significant nationwide surge in counterfeit pills that are mass-produced by criminal drug networks in labs, deceptively marketed as legitimate prescription pills, and are killing unsuspecting Americans at an unprecedented rate.
These counterfeit pills have been seized by DEA in every U.S. state in unprecedented quantities. More than 9.5 million counterfeit pills were seized so far this year, which is more than the last two years combined. DEA laboratory testing reveals a dramatic rise in the number of counterfeit pills containing at least two milligrams of fentanyl, which is considered a lethal dose. A deadly dose of fentanyl is small enough to fit on the tip of a pencil.
In Minnesota, DEA investigators have seized approximately 74,000 pills in 2021. This marks a significant increase from the less than 1,500 pills seized just three years ago.
Counterfeit pills are illegally manufactured by criminal drug networks and are made to look like real prescription opioid medications such as oxycodone (Oxycontin®, Percocet®), hydrocodone (Vicodin®), and alprazolam (Xanax®); or stimulants like amphetamines (Adderall®). Fake prescription pills are widely accessible and often sold on social media and e-commerce platforms – making them available to anyone with a smartphone, including minors.
“Across our five state Division, we’ve seen a staggering influx in counterfeit pills,” DEA Omaha Division Special Agent in Charge Justin C. King said. “This is not an East Coast or West Coast problem, but one that the entire nation is facing. We’re seeing these pills in our own Midwestern communities. By raising awareness to this alarming trend, we’re hopeful that we can save families the heartache of losing a loved one. Every life is precious and we want to prevent as many people as possible from making a choice that has permanent repercussions.”
The vast majority of counterfeit pills brought into the United States are produced in Mexico, and China is supplying chemicals for the manufacturing of fentanyl in Mexico.
The drug overdose crisis in the United States is a serious public safety threat with rates currently reaching the highest level in history. Drug traffickers are using fake pills to exploit the opioid crisis and prescription drug misuse in the United States, bringing overdose deaths and violence to American communities. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than 93,000 people died of a drug overdose in the United States last year. Fentanyl, the synthetic opioid most commonly found in counterfeit pills, is the primary driver of this alarming increase in overdose deaths. Drug poisonings involving methamphetamine, increasingly found to be pressed into counterfeit pills, also continue to rise as illegal pills containing methamphetamine become more widespread.
Drug trafficking is also inextricably linked to violence. This year alone, DEA seized more than 2700 firearms in connection with drug trafficking investigations – a 30 percent increase since 2019. DEA remains steadfast in its mission to protect our communities, enforce U.S. drug laws, and bring to justice the foreign and domestic criminals sourcing, producing, and distributing illicit drugs, including counterfeit pills.
