It's plausible, I suppose. If you have more money than you know what to do with, a lot of VIPs, a lot of questionable and risky activity, etc., maybe not an unreasonable insurance policy.
Everything is pretty much within a quarter mile of the helipad, although that's as the crow flies. Several of those paths are longer since they meander because of the elevation changes.
