speaking of the Monarch, it is an amazing testament to the glory of God and the folly of evolution if you research it. 4 generations of Monarchs are born a year. the first 3 generations only live 2-6 weeks. the fourth generation lives 6-8 months and migrates South for the Winter and then returns North to spawn the next years first generation.
That’s a difference of 1600% from min to max in lifespan.
