Democratic Senator Claims, Without Evidence, That The FBI Ran ‘Fake’ Kavanaugh Tip Line During Confirmation Battle

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D., R.I.) accused the FBI of running a bogus tip line while investigating allegations of sexual misconduct against Justice Brett Kavanaugh, the latest in a sequence of serious but unsubstantiated claims the Rhode Island Democrat has made about Kavanaugh and his confirmation process.

The senator spoke Wednesday by Zoom to an Ohio chapter of the American Constitution Society (ACS), a progressive judicial group. Three attendees told the Washington Free Beacon that Whitehouse twice asserted that the FBI operated a "fake" tip line while purporting to investigate the justice.

Mike Davis, formerly a top lawyer to then-Judiciary Committee chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa), denied any such wrongdoing on the part of the FBI. Davis now leads an outside group that supports President Donald Trump's judicial nominees.

"Senator Whitehouse needs to get his head checked," Davis told the Free Beacon. "Like all other senators, Whitehouse had access to the FBI's printed reports with detailed summaries of the tips it received. These FBI reports were provided to the Senate as part of the FBI's supplement (7th) background investigation of Justice Kavanaugh's character and fitness over his 25+ years in public service."

The ACS told the Free Beacon that video of the event will not be available, and the senator's office did not reply to the Free Beacon‘s requests for comment. The FBI declined to comment.

The accusation is the latest in a series of serious claims or questions Whitehouse has raised about Kavanaugh, sometimes obliquely, without clear evidence.

Whitehouse himself was a conduit for at least one false allegation of misconduct congressional investigators reviewed. The senator's office relayed a tip from a constituent, Jeffrey Catalan, that accused Kavanaugh of assaulting an unnamed woman on a boat in Newport, prompting a physical altercation.

The witness later recanted and admitted the tip was fabricated. Committee Republicans referred him to the Justice Department for prosecution, as lying to congressional investigators is a federal crime. Whitehouse said Catalan was owed an apology.

The Central Bank of Israel Doesn’t Want You to Know What U.S. Stocks It Owns; Neither Does the SEC

It’s no wonder that American citizens are receiving just a tiny snippet of critical news from mainstream media. Federal regulators have set a new low in withholding documents that the public and the media are entitled to under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). These censored documents could inform us on what’s really driving policy decisions in Washington.

Take our latest FOIA brush with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Foreign central banks and sovereign wealth funds are required under law to report their publicly-traded U.S. stock positions no later than 45 days after the end of each calendar quarter. This is done on Form 13F, which is filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, if those stock holdings reach $100 million or more.

The central bank of Israel, known simply as the Bank of Israel, has not been doing that for years, or if it has, the SEC has not been making the information public. The Bank of Israel files a 13F form but simply lists the names of the investment management firms it is using to manage its stock portfolio. It includes a file number for each investment manager but that file number does not unlock any publicly available information on the dollar amount or the names of the stocks owned by the Bank of Israel.

We know that the Bank of Israel, as of the end of 2019, held at least 7 percent of its $126 billion in foreign exchange reserves in U.S. stocks because that information is available on the website of the Bank of Israel. That would mean that it owns somewhere in the neighborhood of $8.82 billion in U.S. stocks, just with those foreign exchange reserves. But it could have other significant holdings as well.

Why is it important for the SEC to actually follow the laws it is required to follow? What if Israel’s investments are heavily concentrated in a handful of tech stocks, helping to create a bubble ready to burst. It’s not in the national security interests of the United States to be in the dark about stock bubbles, as we learned so well in the dot.com bust of 2000 and the epic financial crash of 2008.

We filed a FOIA with the SEC on May 21 of this year to obtain the U.S. stock information for the Bank of Israel. Under law, the SEC had 20 business days to send us a response or send us a reason for the delay and an approximate timeframe for when the material would be provided to us. We recently sent two reminders to the SEC that they were in default on the 20 business-day limit and received no response. Just dead silence. We have now filed a complaint with the SEC’s Inspector General.

The central bank of Norway, Norges Bank, made a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission for the quarter ending March 31, 2020. It shows that Norges Banks owns 2,126 U.S. stocks with a value of $309.5 billion. Its portfolio includes $7.8 billion in Amazon; $7.8 billion combined in two classes of Alphabet, parent of Google; $9.1 billion in Apple; $4.3 billion in Facebook; $9.1 billion in Microsoft; and $3.1 billion in JPMorgan Chase (a Wall Street bank that has pleaded guilty to three criminal felony counts in the past six years and had its precious metals desk called a criminal racketeering enterprise by the Justice Department in September of last year).

WHO Hires PR Firm to Find Celebrity Influencers to Cover the Many WHO COVID-19 Lies for China

Back in January the WHO and its General Director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said the coronavirus was nothing to worry about.

But soon after this, Dr. Tedros and the WHO went from the coronavirus being no big deal to projecting massive death from the coronavirus.

The Gateway Pundit first reported on March 17, 2020, on the controversial Ethiopian politician and Director General of the WHO, Dr. Tedros, and his irresponsible and criminal fear mongering. Tedros claimed in a press conference in early March that the fatality rate for the coronavirus was 3.4% — many multiples that of the fatality rate of the common flu which is estimated to be around 0.1%.

This egregiously false premise led to the greatest global panic in world history.

President Trump eventually decided to break away from the WHO and stop funding them, but the US CDC responded to say they would keep working with the WHO anyways.

The numbers now show that if you are under 60, the China coronavirus mortality rate is similar or less than that of the flu. It looks like the coronavirus panic was a scam.

Dr. Tedros, Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx, scared the hell out of the American people, created a panic and pushed for lockdowns and social distancing that saved little if any life but killed the US economy.

The WHO is now hiring social media influencers who will sing praises of the failed globalist racket.

Google Bans Ads Promoting COVID-19 Conspiracy Theories To Fight Disinformation

“We are putting additional safeguards in place by expanding our harmful health claims policies for both publishers and advertisers to include dangerous content about a health crisis that contradicts scientific consensus,” the company said.

Google will only allow certain government institutions and healthcare providers to run ads about the virus.

In 2019, Google received nearly $135 billion in revenue through advertisements.

Tech giant Google announced Friday that it will ban advertisements promoting conspiracy theories about the COVID-19 pandemic. The change will be enacted on Aug. 18, with these ads being removed from single articles or entire websites.

Google already bans ads that promote anti-vaccine ideas. Advertisements pushing false claims on disease prevention or cures for the virus are also prohibited.

Cannabis Appears Safe and Effective at Treating Chronic Pain, New Clinical Trial Shows

Cannabis appears to be a safe and potentially effective treatment for the chronic pain that afflicts people with sickle cell disease, according to a new clinical trial co-led by University of California, Irvine researcher Kalpna Gupta and Dr. Donald Abrams of UC San Francisco. The findings appear in JAMA Network Open.

“These trial results show that vaporized cannabis appears to be generally safe,” said Gupta, a professor of medicine on the faculty of UCI’s Center for the Study of Cannabis. “They also suggest that sickle cell patients may be able to mitigate their pain with cannabis – and that cannabis might help society address the public health crisis related to opioids. Of course, we still need larger studies with more participants to give us a better picture of how cannabis could benefit people with chronic pain.”

Opioids are currently the primary treatment for the chronic and acute pain caused by sickle cell disease. But the rise in opioid-associated deaths has prompted physicians to prescribe them less frequently, leaving sickle cell patients with fewer options.

The double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized trial was the first to employ such gold-standard methods to assess cannabis’s potential for pain alleviation in people with sickle cell disease. The cannabis used in the trial was obtained from the National Institute on Drug Abuse – part of the National Institutes of Health – and contained equal parts of THC and CBD.

“Pain causes many people to turn to cannabis and is, in fact, the top reason that people cite for seeking cannabis from dispensaries,” Gupta said. “We don’t know if all forms of cannabis products will have a similar effect on chronic pain. Vaporized cannabis, which we employed, may be safer than other forms because lower amounts reach the body’s circulation. This trial opens the door for testing different forms of medical cannabis to treat chronic pain.”

Twenty-three patients with sickle cell disease-related pain completed the trial, inhaling vaporized cannabis or a vaporized placebo during two five-day inpatient sessions that were separated by at least 30 days. This allowed them to act as their own control group.

Researchers assessed participants’ pain levels throughout the treatment period and found that the effectiveness of cannabis appeared to increase over time. As the five-day study period progressed, subjects reported that pain interfered less and less with activities, including walking and sleeping, and there was a statistically significant drop in how much pain affected their mood. Although pain levels were generally lower in patients given cannabis than in those given the placebo, the difference was not statistically significant.

Texas Republican Convention Turns Into a Mess After Houston Democrats Attempt to Derail It – Delegates Not Provided Access to Vote

Federal Judge Lynn Hughes of the U.S. Southern District Court granted immediate relief to the Republican Party of Texas (RPT) Friday afternoon, requiring the City of Houston to make available the George R. Brown Convention Center both this weekend and next weekend, if necessary, for the party’s convention.

This morning, the RPT joined the lawsuit after a rough first go at its virtual convention.

Earlier this week, the Texas Supreme Court denied the RPT’s separate request for relief to hold its convention in person after the City of Houston canceled the George R. Brown convention center’s contract.

The case that RPT signed onto this morning, overseen by Steven Hotze, had been denied previously. But after the party joined, Hughes deemed there was new standing for the lawsuit.

But this didn’t stop the Houston Democrats from making a mess of the Texas Republican convention. According to the Houston Conservative Forum:

The Republican Party of Texas (RPT) was never serious about litigating Houston First’s cancellation of the contract that permitted the RPT to use the George R. Brown Convention Center (GRB) for the State Convention.

But apparently it’s turning into a mess. Today we’ve received reports that “Republican delegates still haven’t received links to MeetingPulse, the software they are to use to access the online convention, and therefore they are unable to vote today… that’s how chaotic it is”.

Another report comes from a delegate who shared with us that a vote has been taken and yet many delegates are not yet even credentialed.

The Texas Republican Convention online is turning into a mess. This is just what the Democrats wanted.

Advanced Suicide Drones Strike Fuel Trafficking Company In Syria’s Greater Idlib

On July 18 morning, three suicide drones targeted the Watad Petroleum Company in the town of Saramada in the northwestern Syrian region of Greater Idlib.

Watad, which has a monopoly over the fuel market in Greater Idlib, is known to be owned by al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). The company is heavily involved in oil trafficking with neaby Turkish-occupied areas in northern Aleppo and responsible for the illegal import of fuel from Turkey. The company’s profits are one of HTS’ main income sources.

The HTS news agency Iba’a confirmed that the drones struck the headquarters of the company as well as its fuel market. The agency claimed that the strikes didn’t result in any human or material losses.

Activists in Greater Idlib shared a photo showing one of the three suicide drones a few seconds before they hit Watad’s headquarters. The drone, which had an X-shaped wing design, was not seen before in Syria or any other place.

Some experts noted that the design of the mysterious drone is similar to that of the Hero family of loitering munitions made by Israel’s UVision. The drone may be a Russian, Syrian or Iranian reverse-engineered copy of the munitions.

This was the second such attack on Watad. On June 7, suicide drones targeted a number of the company’s facilities in Sarmada.

The drone attack may have been a response to the recent provocations by HTS and its Turkish-backed allies in Greater Idlib. The region’s militants are not respecting the March 5 Russian-Turkish agreement.

Senior Iraqi Army Officer Killed In Clashes With ISIS Terrorists Near Baghdad

Late on July 17, Brig. Gen. Ali Hamid Ghaidan al-Khazraji commander of the Iraqi military’s 59th Brigade was killed in clashes with ISIS terrorists.

The terrorists ambushed the commander’s convoy in the area of Tarmiyah, to the north of the capital, Baghdad. Brig. Gen. al-Khazraji was immediately killed. ISIS’ news agency, Amaq, alleged that three of his bodyguards were also killed in the ambush.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi ordered government forces to hunt down the terrorists responsible for the assassination of al-Khazraji.

Maj. Gen. Yahya al-Rasoul, a military spokesman for the PM, said the authorities are currently investigating the criminal attack, stressing that the perpetrators will be held accountable.

“We will reach the perpetrators so that they take their fair punishment,” the spokesman said.

ISIS cells are fairly active around Baghdad, despite the tight grip of security forces. Two days ago, the Iraqi intelligence eliminated the terrorist group’s governor in the capital, Omar Shallal Ubaid al-Kartani, in a special operation.

The killing of Brig. Gen. al-Khazraji is a serious blow to Iraqi security forces. The attack on the commander’s convoy was apparently well-planned. ISIS cells clearly had detailed information on the movements of the commander. The terrorist group may be tracking other senior officers.

How NATO-Member Turkey Reverted Back to Being an Islamic Dictatorship

The gradual process of Turkey’s becoming an Islamic sharia-law country, again, is no longer so gradual. It has taken a sudden and sharp rightward turn, into Islamic-nationhood. Turkey’s Hagia Sophia, which had been “the world’s largest cathedral for nearly a thousand years, until Seville Cathedral was completed in 1520,” has now been officially declared by the Turkish Government to be, instead, a mosque.

On July 10th, the BBC bannered “Hagia Sophia: Turkey turns iconic Istanbul museum into mosque” and reported that the biggest, oldest, and the most important, cathedral in all of Orthodox Christendom — and the world’s most important Byzantine building, which was constructed as the Saint Sophia Cathedral by the Byzantine Roman Emperor Justinian I in Constantinople (now Istanbul) in the year 537, and which stands on the site that had been consecrated in the year 325 by the Roman Emperor Constantine (and which cathedral was relabelled the Hagia Sophia “museum” in 1935 by Turkey’s Constitutionally secularist Government) — has now become, officially, at last, designated, by the restored Islamic Government of Turkey, a Muslim house of worship, a mosque, a Muslim house of worship.

This signals the end of Turkey’s being ruled by a secular Government, which it had been, ever since 1923. It is the end of Turkey’s secular Government and the restoration of the Islamic Mehmed the Conqueror’s 1453 order that it be a mosque. That ended the Byzantine Roman Catholic Empire, and started Islamic-ruled Turkey. It ended Constantinople and started Istanbul. Mehmet, however, allowed Christianity to continue, in the Islamic Ottoman Empire, but only as an accepted part of the Greek East (“Orthodox”), not as part of the Roman West (imperialistic), Christianity (which he had just then conquered with the fall of Constantinople on that same date, 29 May 1453). And now, even the Orthodox Christians are being marginalized in Turkey, because the Hagia Sophia had been “for almost 1,000 years the most important Orthodox cathedral.”

This is an act with huge international implications. It is an important event in human history.

Turkey’s strongman, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whose entire actual education was only in Islamic schools though he lies about it and claims to have received a degree from a non-Islamic university, is in the process of transforming Turkey back again into a specifically Islamic type of dictatorship, a Sharia-law-ruled state. The secularist Turkish Republic that was instituted in 1923 by the Enlightenment-inspired Kemal Attaturk has now decisively ended. The widespread speculations that Erdogan has been aiming to restore Turkey to being the imperial nation and ruler of a restored Islamic Ottoman Empire are now decisively confirmed by this brazen act of insult to Orthodox Christians, and even to Roman Christians, because — as Wikipedia notes — “Justinian has sometimes been known as the ‘Last Roman’ in mid-20th century historiography.” The Orthodox Church in America titles him as “Saint Justinian The Emperor”. However, Wikipedia also notes that Constantine XI Palaiologos, who was killed by Mehmet’s forces on that date, 29 May 1453, was actually the last Roman Emperor. That ended the Roman Empire.

JPMorgan CEO gets all the money in the ‘most corrupt scheme ever,’ amid Covid-19 misery

The US’ biggest bank, JPMorgan Chase, together with other lenders, managed to take a big slice of the coronavirus relief program pie through fees, while reporting record quarterly profits.

Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert discuss how the banks managed to get such a large cut of the funds, having made a fortune in the last financial crisis after the government bailed them out. Keiser, a former Wall Street stockbroker, notes that professional banks enjoy almost zero risks by using hedging strategies, but, at the end of the day, get bailouts sponsored by the “losers in retail trading.”

“That’s where the capital comes from in America…it comes from the losers,” the host says, comparing the US economy to a casino.

“During this depression, the government prints a lot of money and gives it to [JPMorgan CEO] Jamie Dimon, and then he buys expensive toys with it,” Max adds, noting that the funds can even be spent on buying the company’s own stocks. “So, people in America look at that and say, ‘Wait a minute – this is the most corrupt scheme I’ve seen, ever!’”

A former BBC presenter turned evangelical preacher has admitted to committing 40 sex offences, a number of them against children, across 30 years.

Benjamin David Thomas from Coed Onn Road in Flint, Wales, appeared at Mold Crown Court on Friday before Judge Niclas Parry.

The ex-BBC presenter admitted ten counts of sexual activity with a child, eight sexual assaults, and four attempts to commit sexual assault.

He also pleaded guilty to nine indecent assaults, seven counts of voyeurism and two counts of making indecent videos of children.

Thomas, worked for BBC Wales as a reporter and a presenter on Ffeil, the Welsh language news programme for young people, and on Wales Today.

He left the BBC in 2005 to preach on the streets of London, before returning to Wales in 2008 as pastor of the Criccieth Family Church in Gwynedd. He left his post last year.

Some of the offences date all the way back to 1990, but the most recent offences happened at the end of last year.

He has been given bail until his next appearance at Mold Crown Court on August 18, when he will be sentenced.

A documentary 'In The Blink Of An Eye' is set to air on Channel Seven on Tuesday night, detailing how religion helped the heartbroken families move forward.

But a former Greens campaigner and Greenpeace Director, Chris Harris, launched a deplorable outburst criticising the Abdallah's faith, saying organised religion is a 'curse against humanity'.

Executive producer of the project, Mark Llewellyn, tweeted a picture of the documentary on Saturday captioned: 'Some of the most extraordinary people I’ve ever met. Faith in the face of adversity.'

Mr Harris replied: 'Don't you mean belief in fairy tales in the face of all the evidence?

'I understand how and why people escape into religion. I just happen to believe that organized religion and the cult like belief systems attached are a curse on humanity.

Federal Government Reveals Public Records of Millions of Americans, Which May Expose Criminal Records… Enter Any Name

I just ran this TruthFinder background report on myself and other people I know. I didn’t realize public records could uncover so much dirt. The information I found in just a few minutes of searching has changed how I’ll view my family, friends, and neighbors — forever.

Here’s what I found:

Someone living on my block has a criminal record for theft and vandalism. I really thought I knew him!

There is a group of sex offenders living close to each other just 1/2 mile down the road from me. The report even included their mugshots and why they’re on the sex offender registry. (I don’t want to repeat what they did here.)

I found the home address and email address of someone I lost contact with years ago.

And then I dug deeper. . .

My wife’s ex-husband had legal actions taken against him that could have affected us (thankfully they didn’t)!

My best friend from high school is on the “Government Watch List”!

Hydroxychloroquine Should Be Available Over the Counter

It is time to take the bull by the horns to conquer the Wuhan virus. Drastic action is necessary, like on December 8, 1941 after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor.

President Trump should order immediate public access to hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) by making the medication available over-the-counter (OTC). Liberals have interfered with public access to this medication for COVID-19 through the old-fashioned route of requiring a prescription and then having a pharmacist fill or reject the prescription.

Millions of Americans do not visit physicians, and cannot obtain a prescription for HCQ if they did. Even if you have been exposed to COVID-19, you cannot obtain a prescription for HCQ in most states because regulators prohibit dispensing it without a positive test result, which typically cannot be obtained until late in the progression of the disease.

No one credibly doubts that HCQ is safe, and safer than many medications currently available OTC. No one credibly doubts the dozens of studies showing that early use of HCQ, pre-exposure and immediately after exposure to COVID, has helped many overcome this dreaded disease.

Americans do not need a prescription to obtain hundreds of medications which once required a prescription. Nexium, Prevacid, Prilosec, Claritin, Flonase, and Primatene Mist are medications that have been shifted from Rx to OTC in recent years, not because the medical establishment pushed for the change, but because of public demand for it.

No demand is higher at this time than for a medication which helps prevent against COVID. Yet Americans are not being allowed to access the medication which they want and need, and instead are being told by FDA and state officials that they cannot have it.

Last month the Oregon pharmacy board, for example, blocked HCQ access as follows: “Prescription orders for chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 infection may only be dispensed if written for a patient enrolled in a clinical trial by an authorized investigator.”
