The key to all the treatments appears to be Zinc. Giving HCQ to someone who is low in Zinc does nothing which is why the scientific papers point both ways.
This chart may look good but it is not scientific. First it mixe north and south hemispheres. Second, it does not consider the accuracy of the data. Third, it does not consider whether Zinc is given with HCQ. And Fourth, it does not try to remove the effect of the high winter pollution zone in Northern Italy near France where there is a high rate of respiratory disease.

It suggests that they are treating patients with ZINC and low doses of Hydroxychloroquine.
So far the successful studies all seem to be using Zinc along with Chloroquine or Hydroxychloroquine and an antibiotic such as Doxycycline or Azithromycin.
ZINC is the key. It absolutely must be there which is why everybody should take Zinc supplements at the first hint of a cold, and if it seems to be heading to pneumonia, get an extra-strength Zinc supplement and take it with you to hospital.
