>maybe Devo was right about de-evolution?
"Evolution", as Darwin envisioned it, was totally fake and ghey.
Catastrophists were based, and likely correct.
The "evolution" creatures experienced on this planet, were not random mutations over hundreds of MILLIONS of years.
Rather, extinctions were punctuated with bursts of "new" life forms/creatures, likely due, in part, to the YUGE increase in exposure to radiation that likely accompanied the Extinction Level Events.
Additionally, DNA has the capability to sense changes in it's environment, which then trigger changes within the sequences, in order for Life to adapt to the changes in the environment.
Most of the stuff once thought of as "junk DNA" is actually part of the incredibly complex "coding" of Mother Nature, which does not need "time" to perfect that which simply "is".
It's all about The Force
Anyway, the point is that it's not "evolution", but rather "adaptation". We had the programming all along.
