Reminds me of those sillies in safety uniforms that thought their badges contained magical powers authorizing them to keep people away from ocean water.
Not all people animating costumes of Authority are worthy of hero worship.
If one wants to be a good cop, I do so hope you start looking UP your chain of command for the REAL criminals and terrorist.
For honorable people in LE, I do invite them with the most compassion combined with righteous fury… to check themselves and UP their chain of command.
I can be their best friend and backup, OR their worst nightmare if they what to just try the “only following orders” line.
