I just realized something…
America is very big and the media would like you to believe that things are actually worse than they are.
We are seeing "autonomous zones" going up in several cities and the millionaire news anchors reporting on them make them seem more important than they actually are. Each "zone" is approximately a 4-5 block radius and there have only been three or four of them declared (with one of them already dismantled).
The graffiti you're seeing is psychological. It only takes 1 person out of 328,000,000 to paint on the Lincoln Memorial in order to induce feelings of emotion and peril due to the mass coverage of the fake news sensationalizing media.
Do NOT let it affect you - it is superficial and will subside.
Let's say there are about 10000 organized anarchists in the country attempting to overthrow United States (I use this number because you only see very small groups vocal people appear when it's time to "riot". The rest are followers and sympathizers. If you cut off the organizers/leaders, you stop the followers.)
So here are the ratios if the above is true:
If there are 328,000,000 people in the US with 10000 of them trying to overthrow the country that means:
0.003% of the country are anarchists. The majority of the rest, 99.997% are normal people like you and who want whats best for the country and for their families. They want to live a normal life, to be left alone and are probably just as fed up with the other .003% as you and I are.
If a square block is .0025 of a square mile and there are 4 Autonomous Zones occupying 5 sq blocks, each at 0.0025 sq mile per block:
That's 0.05 square miles in the total of 3,800,000 sq miles in the US that have been declared "autonomous". That's 0.000001% of the US that is or was occupied by anarchists and that number is NOT growing quickly.
99.999999% of the country is NOT an autonomous zone.
Furthermore, the zones are being dismantled faster than they are being created.
So realize that the silent majority IS in fact a massive majority. The millionaire news anchors and cable news companies simply are attempting to make the movement seem bigger than it actually is.
