Were there as many contemporaneous News Reports about the Holocaust, as there have been full length feature films since?
I hate this whole subject, but I do wonder about actual reporting vs, emotionally laden story telling

I hate the whole subject, because I know first hand how horrible the ridicule felt, when I asked questions at Saturday School about details when they showed my whole classroom of ten year olds horrific images without context.
I say without context like dates, places, names…
All I got was ‘nazi nazi, holocaust holocaust, never again never again’.
We, ten year olds, were shown reel after reel of bulldozers pushing bodies, walking skeletons in striped prison uniforms, and yes, lampshades and bars of soap made from kids just like us.
As a ten year old, I thought it was a bit much. Learned quickly NOT to ask questions.
