They are not true Christians.

They don't believe in being "Christian".

Christian is Christ in you. That's where it stems from.

The Catholic faith and all the other faiths that stem from it do NOT believe in being born again of Holy Spirit, thereby being Christian, Christ in you. I know, I was confronted by a bishop regarding that. They think it's actually heresey to say that you are a Christian, born again believer.
