Mao suit

The modern Chinese tunic suit is a style of male attire originally known in China as the Zhongshan suit after the republican leader Sun Yat-sen. Sun Yat-sen introduced the style shortly after the founding of the Republic of China as a form of national dress with distinct political overtones.

Hillary Breaks Out The Ugliest Outfit In Human History

Hillary Clinton has worn some rough outfits—and I mean rough—but this weekend’s showing at a fundraiser in Massachusetts takes the cake. Hell, the entire bakery. Even if you’re not into fashion, as I am not, this outfit is objectively bad; it’s ill-fitting, frumpy and reminiscent of a couch covering; even a single glimpse of this monstrosity will leave you begging for Big Bird-yellow Pantsuit Hillary back.

The former secretary of state chose to rock a Mao-inspired knee-length jacket from what looks like Bergdorf Goodman’s Chinese Dictator fashion line. Hillary has worn these long, flared-at-the-bottom type jackets quite a bit post her conquering of the classical pantsuit in every color known to man, but she typically wears such jackets in a solid color.

Hillary as ladies' fashion leader. Who knew?

Nobody has accused Hillary Clinton of setting an example of how to dress for success, and certainly not for fun. She’s clearly no Melania Trump. But she may be assisting the Chinese in bringing back “the Mao suit.” She probably shouldn’t expect a standing ovation from men.

That should suit her, so to speak, just fine. She often echoes the feminist line that women shouldn’t have to bear men looking at them. Who can see a brilliant mind under a tunic buttoned to the chin, accompanied by baggy pants that might hide who knows what.

The Mao suit, or what the Chinese call “the Zhongshan suit,” was originally meant to cover “the classless society,” and it makes a comeback from time to time in China. Hillary’s Mao suit, though modified, does not hide or disguise its origins. It looks like it was designed in New York or even Paris (meaning it probably costs a lot, despite the cut of its jib), but it’s still a Mao suit, so far without the winter quilt effect once fashionable in Tiananmen Square (without the tanks).

"Obama learned his lesson well.

I am proud to see that my father's model for organizing is being applied successfully beyond local community organizing to affect the Democratic campaign in 2008. It is a fine tribute to Saul Alinsky as we approach his 100th birthday." – Letter from L. DAVID ALINSKY, son of Neo-Marxist Saul Alinsky

  • Hillary, Obama and the Cult of Alinsky: "True revolutionaries do not flaunt their radicalism, Alinsky taught. They cut their hair, put on suits and infiltrate the system from within. Alinsky viewed revolution as a slow, patient process. The trick was to penetrate existing institutions such as churches, unions and political parties….

"One Alinsky benefactor was Wall Street investment banker Eugene Meyer, who served as Chairman of the Federal Reserve from 1930 to 1933. Meyer and his wife Agnes co-owned The Washington Post. They used their newspaper to promote Alinsky….Her series, called 'The Orderly Revolution', made Alinsky famous….

Lori Lightfoot really wants that title of “America’s Worst Mayor”

n the “Who’s America’s Worst Mayor” sweepstakes, it looks like Bill de Blasio has some serious competition. Watch your back, Bill because Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot is nipping at your heels.

The other day, in her ongoing effort to prevent Chicagoans from living their lives freely, tough-talking Lightfoot laid down the law on scofflaws who refuse to adhere to her strict Wuhan Panic lockdown orders.

Said tough-talking Lightfoot:

“Now I’ve directed Superintendent Brown to order all police districts to give special attention to these parties. And this is how it’s going to be. We will shut you down. We will cite you. And if we need to, we will arrest you and we will take you to jail. Period.”

And despite adding the word “Period” at the end, Sméagol Lightfoot went on:

“There should be nothing unambiguous about that. Don’t make us treat you like a criminal. But if you act like a criminal, and you violate the law, and you refuse to do what is necessary to save lives in the city in the middle of a pandemic, we will take you to jail. Period.”

“Don’t make us treat you like a criminal?” Is that supposed to be a threat? Because given the way criminals are treated in Chicago, I don’t think that’s particularly intimidating. Period.

When it comes to church services and neighborhood parties, Lori Lightfoot likes to crack the whip.

Yes sir. She’s coming for you, you wayward worshipers and brat-barbecuing baddies!

But if you decide to swarm Grant Park in order to tear down a statue of Christopher Columbus, Tough-Talking Lightfoot isn’t so tough. In fact, when it comes to the mobs attacking police and vandalizing statues, Lightfoot is a bit of a light touch. Period.

Hundreds took to the streets yesterday to express their First Amendment right to protest. I unequivocally support and will always fight for the rights of individuals to peacefully protest on any issue.

— Mayor Lori Lightfoot (@chicagosmayor) July 18, 2020

Odd how these guys don’t get an “unambiguous” “We will shut you down. We will cite you. And if we need to we will arrest you and we will take you to jail.”

Are they not also violating the lockdown? I mean on top of vandalizing property, trying to tear down a statue and attacking the police.

But Lightfoot couldn’t bring herself to lecture them the way she lectured lockdown scofflaws.

Nope. Instead, she reserved her tough-talk for the police. Period.

I have spoken to the director of the Civilian Office of Police Accountability, and she has assured me that @ChicagoCOPA stands ready to address these complaints and will ensure that each of these is dealt with and investigated. We will not spare any resources to do so.

— Mayor Lori Lightfoot (@chicagosmayor) July 18, 2020

If you believe you have been mistreated by the police, then I urge you to file a complaint through COPA or by dialing 311.

— Mayor Lori Lightfoot (@chicagosmayor) July 18, 2020

What’s the number CPD officers should call when one of these “peaceful protesters” hits them in the head with a brick? Given how things went, I’m thinking that information might be useful.

This is what you get when you treat citizens like criminals and criminals like “peaceful protesters.”

There was one “protest,” however, that prompted a super tough response from the city. And I’m sure it’s just pure coincidence that it was the one that happened in Lori Lightfoot’s neighborhood.

"Any summer mobile units, you are needed at Kimball and Fullerton" to shore up @lorilightfoot's neighborhood. #ChicagoScanner #Chicago

— CWBChicago (@CWBChicago) July 19, 2020

It's high priority because it's in @LoriLightfoot's neighborhood. #Chicago https://t.co/0SFWwqY6Im

— CWBChicago (@CWBChicago) July 19, 2020

If Chicago sees a surge in COVID cases over the next few weeks, it isn’t going to be from neighborhood parties; it’s going to be the from hundreds upon hundreds of violent idiots gathering in a mass to riot and attack the police. Period.

Yeah. De Blasio’s days as America’s Worst Mayor just might be over thanks to this incompetent hot mess.

And the Chicago Police, not to mention law-abiding citizens, are the ones paying the price.

I think we’re zeroing in on why Kayleigh McEneny referred to Lori Lightfoot as the “derelict mayor.”

Cuz she pretty much is. Period.

Sméagol takes the easy road

Sméagol learned quickly that bashing Trump on Twitter works much the same way as ink from an octopus’ ass.

Just a few weeks ago Sméagol was booking down the easy road tweeting her snotty “clap-back” at the President saying she “doesn’t need leadership lessons from Donald Trump.”

And lost behind the ink of all the “You go, girls” and “Yaas Kweens!” Twitter replies were all those lives lost on Sméagol’s watch.

Beneath the cloud of deflection, Sméagol can not only hide her own incompetence, but she can avoid having to do the difficult and time-consuming work of making Chicago a shining beacon rather than the murder capital of the Midwest.

Sméagol isn’t a mayor. She’s a Twitter shit-poster.

Meanwhile shots ring out in the Chicago night – night after night, week after week, month after month. And Sméagol does nothing about it.

In her daily press briefing yesterday, Kayleigh McEneny, when discussing Chicago’s rampant murder rate, called Sméagol a “derelict mayor.”

Now, the definition of “derelict” in this context is “Neglectful of duty or obligation; remiss.”

When you consider that people are being gunned down in the streets on a nightly basis while Sméagol is sending police to arrest church-goers and deploying the Census Cowboy, seems to me McEneny’s use of the word with regard to Sméagol Lightfoot is spot-on.

But before you could say “Giddy-up,” Sméagol hit the easy road and sucked up for those sweet, sweet retweets.

Want to look like Obama in a traditional Chinese suit? Here's how …

By Chieu Luu, CNN

China's online marketplace Taobao is offering buyers the chance to look like a world leader – for less than $30.

Shops on the site are selling imitations of the so-called "New Chinese Suits" worn by U.S. President Barack Obama and other leaders at this week's APEC banquet dinner in Beijing.

The traditional-style Chinese button down shirts that have a modern high collar are selling for as little as $27, with the more high-end ones going for nearly $800.

And it's not all about the male leaders – the longer Chinese button down jackets and traditional long dresses emblazoned with floral embroidery worn by female leaders and the spouses of their male counterparts are also for sale.

Some shops are taking made-to-fit orders, with many vendors displaying photos of Obama wearing the suit next to their products.

Sino the times: The ObaMao T-shirt

Barack Obama and Mao Zedong mash-up T-shirts crack smiles in Beijing

With U.S. President Barack Obama landing in China, we've come up with an alternative itinerary while a Beijing based designer has come up with an alternative graphic design called the 'ObaMao.'

In what has to be a first possibly in the spirit of Shepard Fairey's artistic designs Beijing based designer and entrepreneur Liu Mingjiehas created the now banned ObaMao as part Barack Obama, part Chairman Mao Zedong, and all awesome. The graphic puts Obama's face into the spot usually occupied by Mao and features a green Communist Party hat with a red star, slightly tilted because that's 'more American.'

Mingjiehas has put ObaMao on T-shirts, bags, posters, and all varieties of trinket, including a small fake cover of Time Magazine back in June.

At his shop Stefan (No 20 Yandai Xiejie in the neighborhood near China’s famed Bell and Drum towers), he's gotten quite the reaction from customers so far. In a China Daily article Mingjiehas said, "American people who come in (to the shop) say, 'Omigosh. That's fantastic." I'll bet the Republican party feels the same way.

Obama and Mao: a Short History Lesson

Obama has surrounded himself with Maoists, like terrorist couple Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.

The Czars he has named include Maoist-leaning Van Jones, and his White House Communications Director Anita Dunn has publicly expressed admiration for Mao Tse Tung.

At least three of Obama’s campaigners, Carl Davidson, Bill Fletcher and Mike Klonsky, are big Mao fans.

So if Obama is surrounding himself with Maoists, how is that affecting policy? Or rather, if Obama is enough of an admirer of Mao to have named these people in the first place, can we expect to see some evidence of this in his style of governance?

Another striking similarity with Mao is Obama’s clever use of thugs. Not only are union thugs useful in intimidating his enemies, but his unprecedented open borders and no-arrest policies vis-a-vis illegal aliens encourage the cartel and undocumented low-life to bludgeon his opposition through often-violent crimes such as the savage murder of rancher Rob Krentz and the recent murder of an American boater on a lake shared with Mexico.
