I saw that there were two mass shootings today and thought "Surely that's notable."

Local news in Peoria isn't discussing the race of either the shooters or the victims and that usually means that they were both black.

In DC, well, that city is majority minority.

Not that the shootings are not tragic to those involved, but they just aren't that newsworthy … after all, Chicago clocked in with 53 shot and a half-dozen or so dead this weekend (and Sunday isn't over yet.)

Apparently NONE of the victims were shot by white cops … or that would have been the lead in the headlines.
