a really well written movie script

gives a great picture of what life was like

in the wild wild west

when there was nothing but large territory

and few lawmen

ya know, how things were settled by duels instead of by a judge

and hangings solved many problems

and gangs raided the stagecoaches

If you watch a few of these movies

you get the intolerance of the westerners

for the prissy haughty taughty easterners

and how they say it right to their faces

EVERYBODY pulled their weight into forming a town

and knew the card sharks, gun slingers, and gangs

and many of these movies tell you how they fixed it

John Wayne had good writers

back in the 40's at least
