I live in the country too..off - grid ish. Near the bay area (God help me)
Today walking my dog up a usually more deserted road I encountered a boomer lady that was acting strange when, I walk past her she said: I am trying to give you six feet.
She was at least 15 feet from me.
I was like ah, ok. I dont worry about any of that.
On the way back down, we crossed paths again, she was pretending to look at a random wheat stem, obviously trying to stay away.
She tried to engage like old times, with small talk, super awkward, holding her bandana in front of her mouth like it was going to protect her from my insanity.
I wished her well. These people are literally unhinged and scared for their lives.
They will go back to following the heard when this blows over end of the year.
