This mask photo comes from a scene in the film where a young doctor (the one without the mask) is in "The City" looking for her friend who happens to have the cure to the disease in his blood.
The organization that is supposedly searching for a cure, has a number of adolescents who are drugged, attached to pumps which extract serum from their blood and somehow given dreams in which they are terrorised and under attack by monsters. Almost sounds like an adrenochrome factory. I wonder if this is what the CIA rogue operators have been doing in Afghanistan, Iraq, and in Northern Canada where something is going on with missing Native children and adrenochrome being purified and shipped from a copper mine in Yukon.
In the film, the Flare Virus causes people to go zombie and attack/infect others. This is likely a metaphor for the QAnon followers who won't wear masks and who verbally attack the loyal Deep State minions.
In the film, escaping from the Matrix is not easy. There are many levels and when you escape one, you soon learn that you are not really free. I think they are warning us that the process of redpilling and getting to the Great Awakening, is not a simple one-step thing where you realize that the DEEP STATE IS EVIL. There are layers and layers and you really do have to go through a Dark Night of the Soul to truly get out. Most patriots that believe they have been redpilled, have not gotten past the first level yet.It is important to keep up the effort, to keep up the pressure.
In the film, when they are finally free, they are in a place called Safe Haven. In the USA there are Safe Haven laws…

I think they are saying to us that only those who are REBORN will be truly free. Everyone else is still in the game and the forces of evil will continue to attempt to trap them in slavery again. REBIRTH is a religious experience and those who go through it can put on the Armor of God and enter the Safe Haven.
