What made me livid wasn't that people chose to wear masks, it was when my city council MANDATED them by "emergency ordinance". I initially (when this thing started) wore a mask while shopping mainly to help everyone feel comfortable. However, after Antifa/BLM got to "protest" and "coronavirus" disappeared off the radar only to be revived again, when convenient, I got suspicious and angry about being MANDATED to wear a mask. In truth, I've wanted to wear one in stores to some extent, because the blatant surveillance also angers me. The bottom line is not (for me) mask or no mask but my Constitutional freedoms. If I choose to get together with other people and accept the risks in a "pandemic" (it isn't anymore, anyway) that is my choice. If someone is worried or has co-morbidities perhaps they should stay home for a while.
