I was actually a big Kanye West fan at one time…you know…before he went batshit crazy and started calling himself ‘God’ in every third sentence! Geez…don’t let the praise go to your head or anything! Since then, not so much. Then his super ego got involved…then the Taylor Swift incident…then his comments on slavery…then Donald Trump…ummmm, yeahhh. Except for a song here or there, I just kind of pretend that everything after that 4th album never happened.
BUT…his first project was amazing! And this song with Adam Levine (Who at the time was just ‘the guy from Maroon 5’) was just so mellow and awesome! I think they sounded really good together, and they made this track a hit! Hope you enjoy it too!
I doubt Kanye will ever find his way back to his sanity, but…for a time, he was one of the greats.
I kinda miss him
