The U.S. State Department should immediately recognize the Taiwanese Government as the true and only Chinese Government. End all diplomatic relations with the CCP. Give a 17 day notice to the American companies to remove all operations from the CCP controlled territory or risk being banned from the United States market.
This action would inevitably increase the risk of a hot war that would last around a year. After all the communist party members were eliminated, provide assistance to the Taiwanese Government to help with the transition of governance.
Or… at least let it leak that this is an option…
