It's all about context. PressSec just cut her off and wouldn't take her question. "Ok, you don't want to engage" would be a ridiculous response. It'd be like if you caught the guy behind the counter spitting on your fries. Would you say "I'm going to murder you" or "I'd like a burger, too"?
