Wentworth’s comments were slipped into a much larger conversation on Debra Messing’s ‘The Dissenters’ podcast last week, but they found themselves highlighted on a number of platforms on Monday evening, especially by conservative pundits.

“In porn, women have been conditioned to look and act a certain way,” Wentworth said. “They’re performing, and it’s dangerous to have boys see this as something women want. You can’t stop them, so I’d watch it with them. I would look at the porn with them that one time.”

Redwood City, California scrubbed their “Black Lives Matter” mural on Broadway Street for the 4th of July celebration.

But the city scrubbed the street sign away but only after a local attorney asked to put her own sign on the street since it was an open forum.

Hero Maria Rutenberg told local officials she wanted to paint MAGA 2020 on the street.

City officials then scrubbed away the BLM sign in the middle of the night.

Alleged Hezbollah associate extradited from Cyprus to the US

A Lebanese man, thought to be associated with Hezbollah, has been extradited from Cyprus to the US on money laundering charges, the US Department of Justice announced on Saturday.

Ghassan Diab, 37, was extradited to Miami, Florida, on Friday where he will face trial.

Diab is accused of “the laundering of drug proceeds through the use of the black-market peso exchange in support of Hezbollah’s global criminal support network”.

According to Diab’s arrest warrant in the US, the 37-year-old Lebanese man was allegedly a relative of a senior Hezbollah member, the National reported.

Iraq continues investigations into Soleimani assassination

The Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq announced yesterday that investigations are continuing into the assassinate of the late commander of the Iranian Quds Force, Qassem Soleimani, and the former deputy head of the Popular Mobilisation Committee, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, according to the Iraqi law.

“The investigation into the airport incident began from the first moment and the Iraqi judiciary dealt with that incident as a criminal act that took place on Iraqi land where some of the victims are Iraqis,” the council said in a statement.

According to the statement, the investigation took place according to the Iraqi Code of Criminal Procedure starting with inspecting the scene and meeting with some of the plaintiffs, including the legal representative of the Iranian embassy.

“The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers had been informed of other details regarding the accident, and that the investigation procedures since the time of the accident continue in accordance with the Iraqi law,” it added.

On 3 January, a US drone strike near Baghdad International Airport targeted and killed Soleimani while he was reportedly travelling to meet Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi in Baghdad.
