We’ve been clear that we will take strong enforcement action on behavior that has the potential to lead to offline harm. In line with this approach, this week we are taking further action on so-called ‘QAnon’ activity across the service.

The Streisand effect is a social phenomenon that occurs when an attempt to hide, remove, or censor information has the unintended consequence of further publicizing that information, often via the Internet. It is named after American entertainer Barbra Streisand, whose attempt to suppress photographs of her residence in Malibu, California, inadvertently drew further attention to it in 2003

Twitter openly allows:

Antifa, Louis Farrakhan, Iranian terror groups, pedophiles, anti-Semites, death threats to the President, leftists coordinating riots, statue toppling and looting.

Not allowed:

People who tweet #QAnon

Sooo Twitter is banning “QAnon” due to its potential to cause “offline harm”

Pretty bold move given that #BLM and Antifa regularly incite riots that burn down entire city blocks and kill innocent people by the dozen, but no bans there

Got it
