Chicago FOP President: Mayor Has ‘Run the Titanic into an Iceberg, Intentionally’ ‘Broken’ Justice System Creating ‘Bloodbath’
On Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Ingraham Angle,” Chicago Fraternal Order of Police President John Catanzara reacted to the shootout that took place during a funeral in the city by stating that Cook County’s justice system “is totally broken” and its dysfunction has emboldened criminals and is leading to a “bloodbath in the street” and commented on his dispute with Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D) over requesting federal law enforcement assistance for the city stating that Lightfoot is running “the Titanic into an iceberg, intentionally.”
Catanzara said that criminals are emboldened because “they know there’s no consequences. The justice system in Cook County is totally broken. All the way from the President Preckwinkle (D), to Kim Foxx (D) the prosecutor, to Tom Dart (D) the Sheriff, to Tim Evans the Chief Judge. They have no idea what real justice is. And that’s basically — the bloodbath in the street is the result.”
Catanzara also criticized Lightfoot by stating that she has “literally run the Titanic into an iceberg, intentionally.” He also stated that it’s hypocritical for Lightfoot to say federal agents don’t know the city because they’re outsiders, when Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown isn’t from Chicago.

Mark McCloskey: Democrats Are Trying to Create a Kent State Situation and Blame it on Trump – “They Don’t Care How Many People Die in the Process”
The St. Louis prosecutors on Monday filed charges against Mark and Patricia McCloskey for unlawful use of a weapon and flourishing.
Last month Mark McCloskey and his wife Patricia defended their home from hundreds of Black Lives Matter militants.
Soros-funded Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner filed the charges on Monday.
On Tuesday night Mark McCloskey joined Sean Hannity to discuss Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner’s persecution of him and his wife.
McCloskey believes Democrats want to create another Kent State shooting and blame it on President Trump.
Mark McCloskey: The powers that be the Democrat majority, the liberals, the mob, in combination with inciting the violence, supporting the violent mob and then withdrawing the support of the police can only lead to violent confrontation. I really believe there is an absolute callous disregard on the part of the people who run these Democrat controlled cities. To inflame violence and then provoke a federal response. Try to create a Kent State type of situation and then blame it all on the president. I think as hard as it is to have to admit this, I think this is a callous plan and it’s just political. And they don’t care how many people have to die in the process.

As debt climbs to record $27 trillion, Congress says it's not time to turn off stimulus spending

As the national debt approaches $27 trillion, Congress says federal stimulus spending must continue due to the pandemic.
The government spent $864 billion more than it took in during June, bringing the deficit to a record $2.7 trillion so far this year.
According to Treasury Department data, the debt held by the public is $20.6 trillion and the total outstanding national debt is more than $26.5 trillion. In 2019, the U.S. Gross Domestic Product, the total size of the economy, was about $21.4 trillion.
Kentucky Republican Rep. Thomas Massie told Just the News in June that he thinks the national debt will hit $40 trillion by the end of the coronavirus pandemic. Some experts have predicted that the debt held by the public will soon exceed the nation's entire GDP.
Fellow Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell, the Senate majority leader, has suggested that propping up the economy with more stimulus spending is an immediate priority. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin has taken a similar position.
Despite the rising deficit, a fourth coronavirus stimulus package is being crafted in the GOP-led Senate after the Democratic-led House passed the $3 trillion HEROES Act in May. McConnell has said that any additional coronavirus stimulus package that passes in the Senate would be the last one. A formal proposal has not been released yet.
Members of the New Democrat Coalition, which includes Democratic lawmakers who advocate for fiscally responsible policies, were asked if they are going to insist that new spending is offset by spending reductions.
“I think what we've seen over the course of this pandemic is a recognition that this is an emergency and that getting bogged down in trying to identify offsets is not appropriate during an emergency,” Washington Rep. Derek Kilmer, the coalition chairman, said on Monday during a conference call.
“We need to have targeted spending to address what is the largest public health crisis over the course of, you know, modern history and perhaps the largest economic disruption or most assuredly the largest economic disruption since the Great Depression,” he also said.
California Rep. Scott Peters, another coalition member, said lawmakers should continue new stimulus spending into the next session of Congress, despite the record size of the debt and deficit.
“Now's not the time to turn off the faucet when, you know, we should be using our strong balance sheet to borrow to stimulate the economy, and that may involve more programs like climate and transportation going into the Biden administration,” he said.
Peters referenced a letter he wrote to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in June and said he would like to see a future stimulus package include “a physical state of the nation report or a better debt-ceiling target” to help Congress address the nation’s fiscal situation sometime in the future.
“The idea is not to turn off the stimulus now but to make sure that when times get better that we will all come together and address the issue in a serious way,” he said.

Twitter Targets QAnon: Nukes 7,000 Accounts, Restricts 150,000 More
Twitter has decided the latest threat to society are QAnon followers - with the social media giant banning 7,000 accounts and limiting the reach of 150,000 more in a widespread crackdown against people who believe President Trump is part of a plan to take down the Deep State.
According to NBC News, the 7,000 QAnon account bans were in response to "breaking its rules on targeted harassment," while the 150,000 other accounts will no longer appear in 'recommended follows,' nor will any of their content be included in 'trends' and search.
NBC News' Ben Collins and Brandy Zadrozny point to the recent harassment of "TV personality and author Chrissy Teigen," who deleted 60,000 tweets after her history of sexualizing children, frequent pizza references, and an unsupported rumor that she flew on Jeffrey Epstein's 'lolita express' resulted in QAnon followers and others suggesting she's a pedophile.
While her strange tweets were real, evidence that she flew on Epstein's infamous pedo plane appears to have been fabricated. While several articles have been written about QAnon followers harassing Teigen over the Epstein connection, somehow they glossed over her tweets about children.
This type of harassment campaign is known as “swarming” or “brigading,” and Twitter said those swarms will no longer be allowed on the platform. Twitter will ban users who threaten users during QAnon-related swarms, and limit the reach and search visibility of those who participate in them.
A Twitter spokesperson said this sort of anti-harassment policy could apply to other groups that are primarily motivated by targeted harassment in the future. -NBC News
So, given the recent media attention we're guessing Teigen's 'targeted harassment' is what prompted Twitter's QAnon crackdown - a move which might backfire and make people more inclined to follow the movement, according to journalist Paul Joseph Watson.
