Confirmed. The Cares Act was introduced in the HOR as soon as the the new Congress was installed after the 2018 election. This pandemic was planned a long time ago.

Right. So it started out as a repeal of the excise tax on employee health insurance and then all the covid stuff was added. I suppose it was picked up because of the support for the repeal of a tax - not a bad thing. So, looks like a non issue, I guess. Thanks for the chill pill, anon.
