@POTUS' angle is the masks will permit in-person voting and circumvent the demand for mail-in ballots. I'm with the other anon about this move being a capitulation that counters the efforts of anons that have proven that paper thin surgical masks are ineffective, and that cloth masks, in general, are just bad for your health. It doesn't matter, though. This is the direction we're being led in. You guys wanted leadership to act? They have. Their current move is to "seem weak" in the current situation. We have to live a lie to get the truth out. It's part of the game that isn't a game.
There will be anons that die on "Mask Hill", and there will be anons that eat crow IRL, and play along. So, "fuck it". Congrats to anons on drumming up the narratives for the movement in order to get this turn of events the most coverage possible. Anons were warned, long ago, that anons are just as much actors in this movie as watchers. Sometimes you have to take it on the chin for the plan. If you trust @POTUS, play along. If you trust @POTUS and don't want to play along, then "sit down and shut up" is your current role. If you don't trust @POTUS, then why are you here?
