In this article George Soros gives some accounts of his involvement in Romania circa 1991 and says this:

"I will give you a few examples from our

media program. We managed to help set

up a network of independent television

stations in Romania where the media are

totally dominated by a government that

hasn't changed its spots all that much. I

was pleased last week when I heard that

the government has agreed to give this

network one hour of prime time on the

state network."

Maybe someone knows this history of this situation better than I. Did it backfire for the people of Romania?

If so, I think it could be a powerful argument to prove his involvement in funding media to ___ end and then prove his involvement in our media today. Assuming his motives have not changed, we should expect the same results.

Feels like there might be a very persuasive meme that could be developed from these facts.

I really want to understand better the consequences to the peoples where their 'closed society' was systematically replaced with open societies.

We have in this document verifiable proof that outside organizations and moneys have infiltrated our education system during the Pappy's watch (Barbra being a speaker) to promote the open society model.
