I'm just wondering when the advertisers are going to realize banned accounts don't see adverts. Twatteroos going to search engines to find out what "Qanon" is and maybe not bothering to go back on twatter, which means less traffic, meaning less advert views.

Advertiser: "How nice, your traffic volume has dropped dramatically, why would we pay you extra to advertise to less people than before?"

I believe the Motorola brand have more easily obtained parts. For me personally I'd go with a coxial antenna cable. Do you happen to have anyone nearby with some electronics knowledge that could work on a CB if you came across one sitting in a neighbor's garage all forgotten?
Honestly, hard pass. Not that I would be against one that is not a 40 channel but because I can't see the connectors on the back. The microphone cord looks okay in the pic but I'd sure want to see the back side connectors. Have you checked in any pawn shops?

A decent sized roll of bare speaker wire and you can make your own Faraday cage easy enough.. I recall the Cobras were rather good.

Anything "could" happen. No IC chips inside is the goal. Solid State with good ground should be fine enough. Vacuum tubes don't really car about emp (example: MiG-25 Foxbat interceptor)
